First off, I will say that my Dad enjoyed his fish dish before I get into my negatives.
Lots of staff stood around doing seemingly nothing, eventually managed to catch their eye to ask for some oil for the bread (or balsamic, or butter, anything!) and he just left and we never got any. We did get a bowl of raw onion for some reason, so maybe they misunderstood...
At least the birds enjoyed the bread as they flew in and continuously ate from every table until the cat scared them off.
The steak, for us, was undercooked as we prefer it medium-well but were never asked, perhaps our fault. Stuck it with my knife and I'm sure I heard it moo.
On top of which, the "veggies" it came with were 2 mini green peppers and 3 cherry tomatoes, not enough for a bbq skewer.
Luckily the kids didn't like their pasta bolognese, so I ate that to fill me up a bit.
If we ever came back to this hotel, we would not go again, I thought the portions were small and overpriced on top of the above, very...

The service was also awful: the servants mastered the art of always looking away and pretending not to notice you, so unless you go to the counter to ask for the menu or the bill, you’ll just be sitting there being ignored forever. I literally saw people leaving the nearby table after fruitlessly waiting for 15 min to place an order. You’ll be much better off grabbing a burger at the lobby bar of the Barcelo (where we had much better service). But the view is good, so at least...

Los camareros ni un mínimo de sonrisa, caras cabreadas, no miran a las mesas para ver si quieres algo, más bien evitan contacto visual (y eso que no estaba ni al 50% de lleno). No retiran la bebida ni platos sobrantes ni aunque se lo apartes en el lado. Viajes de vuelta de vacíos paseándose. Te ponen la bebida toda en el mismo sitio para que la repartas tu entre los comensales en lugar de uno por uno preguntando de quién es cada cosa, con los cubiertos y platos que cambian nuevos igual, teniendo que ser manoseado por todos.
Respecto al arroz, comimos arroz del señoret, le faltaba sabor, pero sobre todo eché en falta más condimento, ya que iba un poco pobre. Desde que lo marcharon tardaron casi 1 hora en traerlo. Pedimos para 7 y era para 7, no echan arroz abundante como suela hacerse en otros sitios (que está bien, solo por puntualizarlo). También te dejan el arroz para que te sirvas tu mismo. Precio por el sitio en el que estas, okay, por la calidad del servicio.... ni de coña vale eso.
En definitiva el sitio lo que le falta es mejorar el servicio, un líder que haga que el equipo de trabajadores cocineros y camareros atiendan bien, profesionalidad, amabilidad, no que te atiendan súper serios con la cara de cabreados que hasta parece que te hacen sentirte mal, un poco de brío, alegría y...
