Good, wide variety on offer. 5/5 Tasty nibbles were promptly on the table to ease our hunger pangs. 5/5 We shared a salad, ensalada Amore Mio. Totally delicious, lots of taste and full of variety.5/5 It's a Pizzeria, so you'd expect the pizza to be great, right? Well, let me tell you it did not disappoint. Lovely authentic Italian base (not some overstuffed lump of tasteless dough that so many places try to pass off as pizza. This is the real Italian pizza. I would dearly have liked to have known if the chef was Italian, though I have once been in a somewhat heated discussion with a Spaniard who assured me that it was the Spanish who first concocted pizza. So, I thought it better not to ask. Either way, the fact is, I'm pretty certain the last time I had one as good as this I think I was standing very close to the Leaning Tower itself and that was from a takeaway street van, but here at Amore Mio I sat in a comfortable chair served by very well trained waitresses and ate amazing pizza.5/5.

So, to location. It's a stone's throw from the beach and though I couldn't see the sea from where I sat, I was able to look across to the promenade so I got the feeling of the sea side atmosphere. Lovely. 5/5.

No siendo un mal restaurante italiano, porque en Retamar los hay mejores para mi gusto, está bastante bien. Además seguramente es el más elegante y esa es su seña de identidad y su encanto. Yo había comido allí tres o cuatro veces y siempre bien. Pero la pasada Noche de San Juan de 2023 tuve una mala experiencia, ya que el camarero, un chico joven, nos trató fatal, metiendo prisa para que entrasen otros comensales. además desde el principio. Vamos, que la cena se hizo incomodísima y hasta indigesta. Así que desde entonces no he vuelto a ir. Una pena. Espero que nadie se encuentre con lo mismo la próxima Noche de San Juan. Ni nunca más, claro. Y ahora edito mi reseña, porque posteriormente a subirla, el propietario me contesta quejándose de que suba mi opinión un año tarde. La subiré cuando me dé la gana, por supuesto, o cuando me acuerde o cuando yo considere. Queda constancia de cuándo estuve allí, cuándo me pasó y qué me pasó. Así que si os dais por aludidos es que seguramente las cosas siguen igual, o lo mismo peor. Ahora, con la contestación del gerente, entiendo muchas cosas. Amore Mio is a true gem for Italian cuisine lovers! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors. The portions were generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry.

A special shout-out to the waiter, who was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and very patient. He was more than happy to help whenever we had any questions.
