When we asked for a menu the waiter said that they don’t have a menu. I thought this was strange at first, but I had heard of places doing this so we stupidly ignored it. It appears that is just what they said to non locals though as there’s clearly a menu on this page…
The waiter made sure that he only told us the 3 most expensive dishes that they sold. And made out that this was all that they sold. He came with the bill at the end and we were charged over €100 for a plate of seafood and 2 glasses of house white wine. (When you put this into perspective it was about €7 per prawn🥲)
We had actually asked how much the food would be when ordered (in both English and Spanish) and he had ignored us/ pretended not to understand. We came away feeling absolutely scammed and angry at ourselves for not questioning the prices.
I have posted this to advise others to avoid this place as their out to trip up non locals and scam you out of your money! We wished we had checked online first now as we see that people have had...
Read moreMy rating is to draw attention to lack of menu, and surprise BILL you may get. Waiter makes no effort to mention PRICES, knowing we were not locals. Beware some items are PRICY. When we went to look online he said PRICES vary to what others have posted, and we felt rushed to order.
Food quality is actually okay. but there's no menu. Calamari was chewy but edible.
If busy you may be offered table on the uneven dusty street. We didn't mind that :D. It was a surprise when my friends family of 4, including 2 small kids, paid 190 €

Read moreEntramos para cenar y nos encontramos un pubs con carta, algo que me estraño, tenian musica en directo y pedimos de comer, cometimos ese error. Esperando los platos caimos en que no era sitio para ello. Habia musica en directo y mucha gente de cubalibres, mas pubs que restaurante y como lo primero estaba muy bien pero como restaurante una pena. Pedimos jamón porque nos dijo que no estaba en carta pero que ese dia tenia, el jamon claramente de blister, como lo puedes comprar en cualquier supermercado, gambas correctas, pero si en huelva no las tienen buenas, acaba y vamonos, por ultimo un pulpo a la brasa... tengo peces en mi acuario de 75 litros mas grandes que el pulpo que puso a 19,50 pavos el pulpito, seria un pulpo principe porque vamos... por supuesto cena amenizada con gente bailando y concretamente dos parejas de mediana edad fumando y bailando debajo de un cartel de prohibido fumar, aunque claro puede ser que el cuarteto no supiera leer pero que el camarero tampoco les dijo nada, lo cual deduzco que era natural alli... era un porche cerrado asi que la ropa al volver oliendo a tabaco y no somos fumadores. Entiendo que era temporada baja y que no tendria de todo lo que ponia en la carta pero lo que tenga que fuese de calidad porque si la calidad depende de la temporada, solo se puede ir en temporada...
