Bar Restaurante La China — Restaurant in Almuñécar

We came in today for lunch, the staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. The tapas was great, we had mussels which were good and generous and some lasagna which was a good size portion and really delicious ... My husband had paella and fish from the menu del dia, all we're amazing and again generous portions... I had chuletta de cerdo... This was from the main menu, it was very very good and the Herby potatoes and vegetables that came with it were lovely, all reasonably priced and a nice place to sit looking at the sea, also as an extra note, the toilets were super clean and easy to access, and had hot water! (Something you almost never get in Spanish restaurant's?!) Also the bonus lemonchello at the end of the meal was nice. We'll definitely come back, as the desert's that we had no room for...

I recommend this restaurant paseo de Cotobro 5 under the Edificio Epsylon Uno left to hotel and restaurant Arrayanes for its quality food with good price, quality service with smiling guys and a good cook using fresh food ingredients and also for the friendly atmosphere, frequently full on the terrace or inside when cold comes. I have been eating there for years and the new managing team is as usual, very good. I enjoy their cooking many times a month. You can before or after enjoy the paseo 7 kilometers long from Cotobro to the east of Almuñécar. Enjoy...

We orderd lambchops and got a plate full of french fries at the top a lot of small bone whith little meat oversalted. They have no drinkning meny but we orderd one bottle of Cava Rose. Surprise when paying € 20. When asking us how it tasted I told the manager it was to much salt. Then he turned back to the chief and told her. My husband get a bad eye from her. After that we did not want anything more but the bill....
