Total disaster and a waste of great ingredients.
For a party of 6 we ordered: 1.8 kg cote de boeuf, fish, crispy octopus, and ribs. drinks and entrées Total 260 EUR.
Asked specifically for a medium done steak - due to its significant marbling. Meat came out rare. Were told we can finish it on “hot” plates. We churned through 3 and still were not able eat the meat as the plates retained zero heat. “Crispy” octopus was gummy as hell, sea bass fillet way below average. Only decent thing was the pork ribs. Won’t comment on the entrées.
I cannot fathom why this place has a 4.6 rating. It was indeed a very bad birthday dinner experience. Went home straight after, highly disappointed. Plenty of better spots in...

Do try their burrata salad though for starters and then maybe go to the restaurant next door for the entrees (much nicer staff/good...
Read moreWe have been visiting La Herradura 3-4 times every year for the last 30 years and dining at MarDela (earlier named Pena Parda) is a must every time. For newcomers we allways recommend the Gambas Pil-pil for a starter. I cannot remember ever being disappointed with any of the meat courses, but the BBQ Spare ribs are my favourite. (Have to admit I'm missing the lamb shoulder on the current menu.) Service is good and the attentative waiters operate and treat you in style, and with plenty of kindness. Pedro el Noruego will...
