Bar Isabel — Restaurant in Álora

I visited this place after doing the caminito del rey hike. The woman working there Luz Mari was one of the rudest people I have ever met, I walked in and said Hola buenas. She replied 'buenas' sarcadtically without even looking up from her phone. She didn't even look up from scrolling social media and chatting to her work mates . She left me waiting for a few minutes and when she finally did come over I told her I had decided to leave and would be leaving her a bad review.

The lady is working there alone, so I would reccomend reserving at least half an hour to eat, but she is doing really great job. Sandwiches are delicious and big enough, perfect place to eat before getting on caminito del rey. You can drink coffee (very poor though), buy cigarettes in a machine and use a restroom. Although the food and drinks are very affordable, I wouldn't recommend this place. You have to wait a very long time for your food, we waited for almost an hour for a salad (and it was not busy at all). We missed our bus because of the slow service and she did not seem to care at all. Whenever you ask them if the food is almost ready, they say '2 more minutes'.
