Further reply: Thank you for replying. I appreciate it. I have increased the stars because of it. I was there on a Friday. For 17 Euros I think you can still give more generous quantities of food or make the flavours a bit more original and interesting. I think the person in charge of the dining area could have checked the bathroom for whether it had paper to dry your hands with. Also she could be a bit more welcoming. One thing I liked was to see the kitchen was quite open and visible and you could see the fresh food being prepared there. Thanks again.
Original review: I had lunch here with my wife and 2 young children and while the little food given was ok, it was expensive for what it was. It was €17 for the menu de dia and it came without bread or drinks. The portions were small. I ordered an apple and walnut salad. The pieces of apple and the walnut were in tiny pieces. It seemed like someone in the kitchen had carefully measured their ungenerous portions and insisted not a gram more should be given to the customer. The main, a quiche with a small side salad, was equally meagre in size. The taste was fine but it felt like there was government rationing in Alp. The quiche lacked flavour (herbs or garlic would have been welcome in the quiche) and it had a soggy bottom (the base was wet). As there was not much food given they could have at least got it right or made me think I could not have made a better version myself at home. The dessert, a brownie was ok, but it could have been served with ice cream to make it a little more interesting for my €17. I left feeling hungry and thirsty and unhappy that the meal was expensive. The service was not friendly making it in keeping with the not very generous portions. No effort was made to make me feel welcome or to make me want to come back again. The toilet did not have a lock and the it also had no facilities to try your hands with. I told this to the waitress but she didn’t seem interested. An unhappy...
Read moreFantastic place! We went for lunch and ordered pizza, and I can honestly say it was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. We ordered the pizza Ibérica, Napoli and Nonna, each was delicious, with really high quality ingredients. It was so good in fact that we came back for dinner the same day. I ordered the ribs for something different and they were equally amazing! Top notch across the board, including the wine and coffee. These guys know what they’re doing. Nice location, great service, fair prices. Highly recommended if you’re in the area, and even worth a trip out of your...
Read moreOriginal review: Excellent pizzas and even better dessert, all served by very friendly staff. Updated review: Total disappointment - we went there the day after, to enjoy they great desserts. They gave us the table for 4, and when we wanted to order, they said that we have to take a pizza instead. When we said OK, chose a pizza and then desserts, the person who I think was the owner, told us that we cannot do that (implying that we needed to order more pizzas). Disgusted, we left.
Conclusion: You can have the best food in the world, but greed...
