Expensive, bad service and bad taste - worst Paella of all times!
Me and my boyfriend went here because we knew the restaurant before "es raor" (named El Pescador) that was in the exact same location. El Pescador used to be really good.
So when we heard that the restaurant changed owner we wanted to try it. Unfortunately the food was bad (my paella was burnt and not entirely cooked - how's that possible?!), one of the waitresses was really really unfriendly (blonde girl with short hair - the others were nice though) and beyond belief expensive for e.g. we got some bread with allioli and olives (2 tiny buns with max. 4 olives) for round about 4 Euros per person!! so we paid 8 Euros for bad bread with untasty olives and allioli!
What an absolute rip off - would not recommend this place to anyone. The only nice thing is the view. What a pitty...
Que clavada - nunca nos vamos a regresar a este restaurante. Muy caro, la comida es mala y adémas la camarera (pelo corto rubio) era poco...
Read moreLocation: great, no better view of the sunset in Sant Elm. Food: Mediocre. Steak had to go back twice. Service: surprisingly bad. No personal attendance, instead there were 5 different waiters attending our small party. All of them seemed like part time jobbers that were probably still in school. Particularly insightful moments: Waiters throwing plates on the table without even turning to / looking at us. Taking away drinks prematurely, not listening to our "no!", then giggling about their mistake without an apology. Particularly appetising was when a large roach was visiting us and the waiter was just smashing it on the floor with his foot. Lucky we finished our food fast. When we saw the menu that looked like Disneys Nemo Animators designed it 40 years ago, we thought that this would be a sympathetic evening, but seems like we were wrong! Better alternatives: flexas, vistamar or la...
Read moreWe've been here last year when the former owner run it as it was called "el pescador" and we loved it. The food was super good and in a normal price range. This time we tried it again under the name "es raor" and it was so disappointing! The food was way more expensive while the portions were smaller and additionally it didn't taste well. We had the paella which was dry and burned and we had the parilla de mariscos (fish plate). The fish was not well cooked and all over the plate were pesto ! So the hole fish plate was full of it and made it taste like pasta. And for this small portion a price above 30 euro is ridiculous! I would definitely never go here again ! Besides the receptionist, the waiters...
