We used to love this place, but lately, it's been such a letdown. The service was decent, but the food? Way below average. Here's what we ordered:

Gambas Crujiente with Siracha Mayo: They were good, but let’s be honest, any basic Chinese restaurant can serve deep-fried shrimp. Nothing special here.

Croquetas de Bacalao: These were really good! No complaints, the highlight of the meal.

Taco de Pescado: Yikes. The fish wasn’t cooked, just “marinated,” which wasn’t specified on the menu. And let’s talk about the tortilla—definitely store-bought! Real tortillas are made of corn, but this one was a strange mix of corn and wheat, and tasted... fake. The fish had zero flavor, marinated in a weird way that didn’t even resemble ceviche. And it was piled high with onions—both raw and cooked—plus some salad. Long story short: not authentic, not tasty, and definitely not worth €16.50 for two.

Pulpo con Espuma de Patatas: The octopus was a bit chewy, and the "foam" was more like a soup—just a bowl of white liquid. It wasn’t awful, but certainly not worth the price.

Overall, the place has become expensive while the food tastes cheap. It used to be different—the dishes, presentation, and vibe were so much better. I hope you find your way back to how things were.

Side note: You might want to double-check the Spanish on your menu—there are quite a few...

Overall quite a disappointing experience when we visited in the summer. We ordered from their Tapas menu which we found to be very underpar. The common theme was that most dishes were quite bland. Shrimps were overcooked and under seasoned, octopus was good but the base was tasteless. Vitello and bao buns had way too much sauce on them. It seems that it may be best to stick to the main menu, as looking around the restaurant at other dishes the quality looked far superior. Overall great location, great staff but avoid...

Last minute booking, and found the staff most accommodating when making the reservation. Upon arrival I had a genuinely warm greeting and was given a few options of where to sit to best suit. I had the scallops for starter and they were cooked to perfection, beautiful flavour. And for main I had the beef tenderloin which again was cooked perfectly, soft and meltingly tender with well balanced flavours. I can see why Trespais is so highly...
