As good as normal. The food and the service from the friendly staff excellent . I consider the three star review when the restaurant was closed uncalled for and unfair. It was closed due to a fire in an upstairs apartment and had policia tape around it for some weeks. Auf der Suche nach einem guten Restaurant in Port Andratx sind wir dank der hervorragenden Google-Bewertungen auf das Restaurant Viva gestoßen – und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ohne Reservierung hatten wir Glück und bekamen noch einen Tisch für zwei Personen. Das familiengeführte Restaurant liegt eine Querstraße vom Meer entfernt, in ruhiger Lage. Die Atmosphäre ist herzlich und einladend, das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders angenehm: Die Bedienung sprach sehr gut Deutsch, was die Kommunikation erleichterte. Wir entschieden uns für das Ostermenü für EUR 45.--. Zur Vorspeise gab es Gambas in Knoblauchöl – sehr aromatisch. Als Hauptgericht wählten wir das Rumpsteak. Ich hatte es medium rare bestellt, es kam eher medium, war aber trotzdem wunderbar saftig und geschmacklich top. Zum Dessert gab es Tiramisu und eine Crêpe Suzette. Letzteres sah optisch nicht ganz so elegant aus, war aber geschmacklich ein echtes Highlight. What can I say - another outstanding meal at Viva . We arrived without a booking and were quickly accommodated. The service was excellent and the food the best we’ve had in Port d’Andratx. We spend a lot of time in the area and eat at most of the local restaurants. Viva is our favourite and we will be visiting...
