Central Restaurante — Restaurant in Archidona

Called here today as we have done many times before. The place itself is beatiful and the staff are friendly and polite. We were prompted with the menu which is fine, as its always nice to look. Then we had plates and cutlery brought out. I explained that we had only called for a drink. Granted we received a few olives with our drink but not the beautiful tapa experience of the past.Previously our experience has been fantastic but today we were a bit disappointed and felt a little pressurised at feeling we needed to order a meal. We decided not to and when the bill came it was €5.50 for a beer and a wine. We moved on to Mejias in Salinas and had the same drinks and freshly prepared tapas (pincho de gamba and carne en salsa) for €3.60. If you're looking for somewhere really nice, friendly and typical of the area then this is the place, we spent the start of our evenings out in here before going around the town. With every beer we ordered we got a little tapas and really enjoyed the selection, it's quite a steep hill coming down from the main road but once down the hill it really is worth it. Busy bar full of locals who come to eat here which is always a good sign, with some covered seating outside so you can watch the people passing, although you are basically on the footpath next...

Pese a tener reserva desde hacía 5 dias, para comer, cuando llegamos nos sentaron en el bar ( el comedor estaba vacio), donde había un ruido infernal . La encargada se dirigió a mi apuntandome con el dedo, y diciéndome: esa mesa no es suya. Nos había sentado ella, y no nos daba otra opción. Nunca me habían tratado asi en un restaurante, y no nos marchamos porque ibamos 5 personas, con una persona muy mayor y sería difícil comer en otro sitio, pero nos disgustamos bastante. A partir de ese momento, el trato de la encargada fue totalmente borde, pese a que en ningún momento la faltamos al respeto. Puedo entender que estaba estresada y no podía con todo, pero el trato fue pésimo. La comida normal, pero entre el ruido que había, que no podiamos ni hablar y como nos trató la encargada, no volvería nunca. Y desde luego, no lo recomiendo ,.
