Best seafood restaurant on the canary islands!!
Each time we are on Tenerife we are looking forward to visit Mero Pancho restaurant. We have travelled to all canary islands and definitely this has been our favorite gastronomic experience each and every time. We have been to this restaurant 3 times and will go again soon - cant wait already!
You will find variety of fresh fish on the counter as well as some other dishes on the menu. Try grilled octopus and you wont be disappointed ;) We have also tried other fresh seafood, salads, croquets, papas etc. - everything super tasty!
Deserts deserve a separate mention. All we have tried were delicious - tres leches, quesillo… but polvito uruguayo was truly delicious! Best polvito I have had!

We didn't go there again even though the restaurant was right across from where we stayed. Except for our unfortunate experience, the food tastes good and the place is...

Have you ever tasted those small shrimps those long moustache wraps around you and you just can't stop this eating romance? Oh wait..and after the first bite of mussels you starting to feel that the trip to Tajao will be repeated again and again. And after all of this your life becomes even more sweeter when home made polvito uruguayo arrives on your table. And trust me.. you will start looking for the polvito recipe, but I doubt you'll find anything even close to it.
Our waiter Mathvias made us feel like at home with exceptional care and warmth. He will make you feel comfortable and welcome even if you only order a glass of wine. We will never forget and will come back first thing on our next visit...
