A very busy area on Sunday. Restaurants were very busy and this restaurant was third time lucky. They had a table. You go to the counter to choose what seafood you would like and how you want it cooked. I ordered 2 skewers of prawns, grilled calamari for two, a mixed salad and a filleted fish for 2 to share, Canarian pototoes to share. There was delicious fresh bread and pesto oils on the table to start. We had half a pint of Cruz camp each. The salad came first and then followed in order with the potatoes and fish last. I don’t understand the good reviews for this place – we had a very unpleasant experience. We had to order food directly at the kitchen with no help (menu only in Spanish). The prawns were poorly cleaned with visible intestines and a strange floury texture, the garlic sauce was bland, and the octopus was rubbery and tasteless.

Only the traditional potatoes and bread with dips (which we didn’t order) were decent. We paid €40 for two beers, two starters and one side dish, with chaotic service and a long wait for the bill. Later I even felt sick from the food.

Peccato perché in tutti i ristoranti che sono stato ho sempre mangiato benissimo invece a cena questa volta ho ricevuto assieme ai miei familiari una grandissima delusione. Cozze e cannolicchi serviti semi congelati con una salsa all'aglio molto leggera, pane ancora congelato, il fritto di seppioline troppo cotto mancava poco che divenisse carbone. Il polipo duro e freddo. Si è salvato solo il pesce che abbiamo scelto al banco frigo e fatto al forno con le patate. Il servizio scarsissimo, chiedevi del vino o del pane e se non lo ricordavi almeno due o tre volte al personale non ti arrivava. La cosa che è stata scioccante vedere arrivare le cozze dure e congelate e ancor più deludente ricevere il pane all'interno ancora congelato, al nostro reclamo, abbiamo ricevuto come risposta che avevano terminato il pane fresco e hanno dovuto scongelare delle scorte, ma come hanno detto dovevano scongelarle le scorte non portarle ancora congelate a tavola ai clienti. Dopo le delusioni ricevuti sulle portate abbiamo ricevuto anche quella qualità prezzo. In tre persone sino a quella sera non abbiamo pagato una cifra così alta per un cibo così scadente, inoltre prendendo il menù non abbiamo trovato scritto da nessuna parte che servivano anche del pesce congelato. Insomma amici per mangiare pietanze scadenti all'ora di cena e con pochi clienti all'interno ho pagato 100€ per tre persone. Non consiglio agli amici questo locale per la scarsa qualità dei prodotti ittici, la mancata cordialità da parte del personale e l'elevato prezzo per le cose che noi abbiamo scelto e che loro non hanno saputo cucinare in maniera adeguata. il mio giudizio...
