I used to come to the old Samelo location in Abades 3-4 years ago and have never been disappointed. Would even say it was one of my favourite places to eat out in the world. But this time I wasn't lucky with my choice of the dish – even though ravioli tasted very good, it was the smallest portion ever (5.5 square pieces for the price of a €15 main). I don't normally eat much, but this was the first time I had to steal a bite from my boyfriend's dish! (it was a decent size burger) And (maybe due to my so-so Spanish) I expected ravioli to come with sun-dried tomato pesto, not a splash of brown cashew sauce… I saw the dishes coming out for other people looking very good, so I hope it's just a rogue dish. After all, there is only a handful of vegan places in Tenerife. We haven't ordered a dessert this time as there wasn't a lot left, but they used to make the most amazing raspberry cheesecake and a yummy brownie. Also the degustacion plate (on the photo) was great. (Edit) I didn't realise that the restaurant has transitioned to being completely gluten free, now I understand the prices for pasta have to be...

We recently ate here after seeing a you tuber recommendation (Freddie Dobbs)It certainly did not disappoint, the food and service were fantastic. We shared a tasting plate full of lovely food and a delicious curry and mango risotto both memorable. Neither of us are vegetarian but don’t let that stop you eating here, the ingredients are all top quality local produce. We had a local wine which was both delicious and superb value. To finish we shared a fantastic tasting cheesecake. I can honestly say this was one of those meals that will live in our memories for a long time. You should definitely book as it is understandably popular. The service was both welcoming and super efficient, they treat everyone as if they have been a hundred times before. A fantastic little family run...

An absolutely amazing restaurant, that feels more like visiting a familiar place you go to often rather than some restaurant. There's a beautiful children's play area where you can see the fridge and all the fruit and veg that goes into preparing the delicious meals. The food preparation is absolutely transparent - you can see the whole kitchen right behind the counter with the lovely Italians doing their magic there. This makes you even more baffled on how they do it, when you taste the deliciousness they can create in a sustainable and responsible way for a reasonable price. Wybraliśmy się do restauracji czytając recenzje i mając wysokie oczekiwania co do miejsca. Obsługa bardzo uprzejma. Miejsce nad oceanem, ale widok na auta zaparkowane zaraz obok ogródka. Zamówiliśmy deskę degustacyjna tapas, 3 dania oraz pieczywo. Wszystko wyglądało bardzo ładnie (dania ozdobione jadalnymi kwiatami). Pieczywo kolorowe co świadczy o ciekawym wykorzystaniu barwników z warzyw. Deska degustacyjna - smaczna tortilla ziemniaczana oraz krem z dyni. Coś co było nazwane gnocchi szpinakowym było w konsystencji kaszki dla dziecka, w smaku głównie czuć było pastę pomidorową. Krem z dyni smaczny, wielkości kawy espresso, ale rozumiem, że to menu degustacyjne. Największym rozczarowaniem było caprese. W daniu, które było największe w całym zestawie tapas i które składa się głównie z pomidora - dostaliśmy zimnego z lodówki, niedojrzałego, miejscami zielonego i twardego pomidora. Uwielbiam pomidory ale tego nie byłem w stanie zjeść. Dania główne miały być wegańską wersją powszechnie znanych dań kuchni świata - głównie włoskiej. Zamówiliśmy ravioli, parmigiana oraz burgera. Dania główne były zwyczajnie niesmaczne. Ravioli było najgorsze - rozgotowane, jałowe w smaku z powodu niedoprawionego nadzienia z dyni, ale dodatkowo zalane mdłym i wyglądającym nieapetyczne brunatnym sosem (orzechowym?). Parmigiana - konsystencja nie do zaakceptowania, totalnie rozgotowane warzywa, danie w konsystencji budyniu. Smak jałowy, przyprawy niewyczuwalne. Burger nie przypadł mi do gustu, bez smaku o dziwnej konsystencji, najlepsze były frytki z grubo pokrojonych ziemniaków podane obok. Podsumowując - duże rozczarowanie biorąc pod uwagę opinie i wysokie oczekiwania. Najbardziej zdziwiony jestem sposobem traktowania warzyw w restauracji wegańskiej - niedojrzały, słaby jakościowo pomidor w sałatce oraz rozgotowany bakłażan w daniu głównym. W dodatku brak soli i innych przypraw w daniach. Na plus - sympatyczna obsługa, wygląd dań (oprócz ravioli) oraz bardzo smaczna lemoniada.
