Great food, very good service, good view of beech, good modern Indian, all let down by the expensive prices. The most expensive to date. There were only 3 of us and we had poppadoms for starter and then curries and rice each for main and it came to £70. we avoided starters and sides at £7 each This place should be packed as the food and ambiance and the views are great, it just the prices that are keeping people at bay. This is high season and the place was only a quarter full at best and its big. What a shame as it wont be around for long at these prices. We loved the food which was on par with England's best but we wont be going back as its so expensive for a curry. Hope they reduce their prices and become very busy and successful and profitable but at this stage its a pretentious tourist rip off. Our compliments to the chef and team as the food taste great, suspect the best Indian...
Read moreExcellent Indian food. All cooked freshly and perfect.
Criticisms by other reviewers over the length of the menu are a little odd. There is a good selection of traditional curries and house specialities, all of which can be served with any variety of meats, as I would expect in an Indian restaurant. Our party all ordered different dishes, and I can confirm that all were served tasting different, and matching the spiciness strengths as we ordered! The immaculate kitchen is on show through a glass wall in the shopping arcade as you enter the restaurant, so you can see the chefs preparing everything.
The restaurant has large panoramic windows overlooking the sea and Mount Roja, so it really is a very picturesque location for dinner.
Extra compliments to our host Mr Singh who was very hospitable and looked after us throughout...
Read moreWorst food I had in my whole life so far. I’ve ordered palak paneer, Chicken butter masala, chicken tikka, kheema rice and naan bread. The paneer pieces are so cold, they just dropped them in the curry from the fridge without even cooking it. Even the chicken pieces is frozen in the curry and also cold chicken in the chicken tikka.. Avoid going to this restaurant if you want to eat Indian food. The staff doesn’t bother to bring plates and spoons and we have to ask each time for each spoon. The girl (don’t remember her name who served us) she really was useless and don’t really care about customer at all. Even re customers who were sitting on our next table, complaining about food and the restaurant.. If you want to eat Indian food in Tenerife, I suggest all to go to south Tenerife, restaurant called Mumbai...
