Salvaje La Tejita — Restaurant in Granadilla de Abona

If you are looking for a place to eat, You'll do yourself a favour avoiding this place. Together with my partner we ordered Octopus and Beef Tenderloin. The Octopus we got was wrestling our jaws to bite through it but the real deal was the tenderloin which came super gray, stiff just prompting you that it is a very bad idea to eat what was put in front of You (and i was super hungry after my long flight). And those things are not cheap there. When we shared our disappointment with our waitress she got rude, not offering anything to save this situation, just to pay for the food that was awful and we did not want to eat at all. So the police was called and two nice police officers came and explained to us how to post official complaint but we had to pay anyway in the meantime. Do not get tricked by how modern this place look like, they maybe know how to server a pint of beer but they do not know how to respect and prepare food, neither how to respect the customer.

The problem is i had no dinner, i had to give it back, the personel was rude and had no solution to the situation. I guess you must be new to the customer service because you provide none but you demand respect when showing none. If you want to teach manners anybody trybit with your employees...

Very tasty food, no complaints about the quality of the dishes. The waitress was sweet but terribly inattentive. She didn't write down the order, tried to remember it, but didn't do very well. She first brought us the wrong dish. We pointed it out to her, and she told us to keep it while she soon brought the correct dish, so we got a free dish from the restaurant. Later, she forgot to charge us for one of the two beers, which we noticed after paying. We went back to inform her of the mistake and paid the difference, although we could have just left. The atmosphere is great, the music's nice, the food is OK, they often have live music.

A couple of years later, it's still OK but I don't understand why staff don't care for pigeons roaming inside :-(

And then, prices are unfathomable high for some items, like J&B, JW or JD. C'mon! 8 Euros mid afternoon, with the place completely empty, for 10cl neat J&B, in the Canaries, where the 1 Liter bottle costs retail 25€? Sure you can order one 20 cl glass of draft beer for 1€ instead, but it...
