We ate there with another couple and had a horrible experience.
In my opinion, the owner, owner´s son and other staff were rude, arrogant and seem to hate tourists. We ordered the specialty of the house and it was delivered to our table as RAW meat that needed to be cooked at our table on a hot plate, which they provided.
While cooking the RAW meat the owner´s son rushed to our table and abruplty shutoff the hot plate and then scolded us for cooking the meat. Keep in mind that our ages range from 52 to 71 years old, we are not children. He stated, in a very nasty and rude tone to us, that the hot plate was only to be used to warm the meat. I don´t know about you, but none of us eat RAW meat and when I say RAW, I mean it was completely RAWwith bllod dripping from it.
The owner´s son used such body language, force and rude language with us that we can only summize in our colelctive opinion is that the degree of arrogance and hatred converyed to us by the owner´s son coupled with the attitudes of the rest of the restaurant staff indicate in our opinion that they may very well hate tourists.
It should be noticed that we speak 3 languages including Spanish fluently. I gave the owner an opportunity to resolve the issues and she just smiled at me as if to say too bad. When I told her I would write and distribute reviews on the internet she indicated she could care less.

Read moreLa Brasa delivers an unforgettable dining experience that deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warmth and professionalism, largely thanks to the exceptionally friendly and attentive manager.
The star of the show, of course, is the steak. La Brasa’s premium cuts are perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, and cooked to absolute perfection. The kitchen’s expertise ensures every bite is tender, juicy, and seasoned to highlight the natural quality of the meat.
The sides are just as impressive, complementing the mains very well. From local sauces and potatoes to vibrant seasonal vegetables, each dish feels thoughtful and adds to the overall experience.
The veal sweetbreads are a creative touch on the menu, rich and beautifully prepared. My only tiny recommendation? A dash of lemon to brighten them up would elevate the dish even further.
To end the meal, the caramelized pineapple and coconut ice cream dessert is fantastic. The pineapple’s sweetness and slight char pair beautifully with the creamy, tropical notes of the ice cream, making it the perfect way to finish a decadent meal.
La Brasa is the kind of restaurant that leaves you planning your next visit before the meal is even over. Between the stellar service, exquisite steaks, and refined yet approachable atmosphere, it’s clear that La Brasa is a step above a lot of similar establishments...
Read moreOverall we were very disappointed with our visit here. First of all, no local beers. No dorada, or reina, even though they are brewed on the island. They had fancy reserve beers. Which is all well and good, but I wanted a simple local beer. Secondly the male servers were arrogant, and rude. I will go as far as to say, insulting. I am not expecting to be treated like royalty, but simple manners would be nice. The female server we had, was excellent though. She really went out of her way to please us. The steaks arrived, they were well cooked, and delicious. The sauce on the other hand were bland, and cold. We ordered canarian potatoes and chips, but only got chips. Also we ordered mixed vegetables which was peppers and zucchini only. The deserts were exceptional. I had the cheesecake which was to die for. The meal was expensive which we knew before going, but the experience has definitely left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I'll definitely think twice before returning there....
