Restaurante Lo Nuestro — Restaurant in Arona

I have rated this restaurant before and have visited it several times before but tonight utterly disgusted by it tonight. We arrived at 8:50 pm but sorry to say we didn't book this time. We was told there was a wait and could we sit at the bar and have a drink and wait fine not a problem. We ordered a 1ltr of sangria and while we were waiting at the bar, never got it, thought maybe waiting till our table is ready and they will bring it over. No didn't happen after 15 mins the waiter asked us to follow him as our table was ready, fine until we were shown outside, we thought maybe having our drink outside while waiting for indoor table. Wrong the waiter set our table up outside and said we would be next if one came available inside. At 9:40 he came to take our order, we thought preparing us ready for inside. People were arriving and being seated inside, we were told they had booked in advance, but we know of 2 lots of people that hadn't booked and were given tables inside. We had our starters outside and after we asked if we could go inside as we were very cold and was told we would be next. Then 2 more lots of people turned up and was having a drink outside and they were told that we were next for indoors. Yes you can guess our main meals came out and the other people were shown to indoor tables by this time I just said I'm not happy and want my food to take home as I was too cold to eat it and needed to warm up due to my arthritis this was at 10:25pm. The waiter apologised and said he would get the manager that eventually came out to see us and offered us a drink as an apology. Not Good enough I said and I explained about the people arriving and getting tables inside that hadn't booked in advance. I asked him if he had a thing about the English and he said yes 4 times then he suddenly realised what he had said and apologised again. Extremely disappointed as we always loved going to this restaurant but was left with a very bitter taste. Spoilt what should of been a romantic night in a restaurant we love.

Authentic canarian food restaurant. We looked for goat & rabbit dishes as they are traditional for locals to eat in the canarian islands. The food was lovely. We ordered grilled cheese with very tasty mojo's and goat & rabbit dishes. If you look for an authentic restaurant with very friendly staff and delicious food, I recommend this restaurant! Even though they don't speak much English, they do love to try help and serve the best foods. In the end we got served a typical canarian shot, which was lovely. Estuve hace dos días para almorzar y pedí una chistorra y un potaje, me sirvieron la chistorra cruda y con toda su agua de congelado que tenia tuve que comerme la mitad…se lo hice notar pero no tuve algún feedback por parte de la señora. Bueno elegí darles una segunda oportunidad y volví el día siguiente. Un desastre, me sirvieron una escalope de pollo que ni un zapato de cuero de los ‘70…esta vez se lo dije directo que no se podía comer por horrorosa que era…al final no tuvieron ni la gracia de quitarme 8 miserables euros de la pechuga y por ganarse 8 euros se perdieron a un cliente, que bobos. No iré por pésimos que son y tampoco les recomiendo a nadie que vaya porque no saben cocinar

Se les nota que no tienen argumentos para contestarme porque atacan la persona y ni una palabra sobre la comida Primero: ¡ eres una rata ! y te lo repito que para ganarte 8 euros perdiste un buen cliente. Segundo Yo vivo al lado subnormal, y cada día voy a comer afuera donde Genaro, a Tu Tiempo, en el Excalibur y a El Granero que es mi favorito. Y nunca me han servido comida asquerosa como la que he comido en Lo Nuestro He sido siempre muy respetuoso y nunca les he faltado de respecto por lo cual no veo los problemas que alega usted. Se le nota además una preponderante ignorancia sobretodo en el trato con los clientes Con razón estáis siempre vacíos Recomiendo que no vayan a Lo Nuestro y que vayan a comer en los restaurantes que mencione antes, por lo menos saben cocinar bien !
