The staff were excellent and very attentive even though the menu obviously was in Spanish our waiter took his time to explain everything in English. We did order 2 mixed salads as a starter the waiter stated "they are very big" so we had one to share. When it arrived he was correct it was huge. We both ordered sirloin steak medallions with pepper sauce mine well done the other medium. We had a choice of chips boiled potatoes or vegetables. We went for the vegetables that came stir fried and were excellent. The steaks were cooked just as we asked and pepper sauce was served on a separate dish. It was one of the best pepper sauces I have tasted. For desert you must have the Brownie. Dark chocolate brownie with nuts. Ice cream on top covered in chocolate sauce with a big serving of whipped cream on the side. Your worth it. With drinks, beers fresh orange juice and coffees the bill was €56. Le pongo una estrella porque no me queda más remedio... La verdad que la actitud del dueño hacia los clientes es decepcionante. No solo se trata de ganar dinero y que el cliente venga un día se trata de mantener al cliente contento. Ya nos pasó aproximadamente hace un mes y hoy nos volvió a pasar lo mismo estando la terraza totalmente desocupada sobre las 12:30 del día pasamos por allí a tomar algo y la camarera me dijo que no se podía utilizar la terraza porque no había servicio para ello, cosa que no entiendo ya que supongo que pagarán las tasas por tener la terraza fuera y si no la utilizan porque no tienen servicio pues no entiendo qué forma de mantenerla aunque bueno pienso que fue una excusa... La vez anterior que fuimos nos dijo otro camarero que estaban todas las mesas reservadas, eso sí desocupadas también y sin cartel de reserva en ninguna de ellas por lo que entiendo que al dueño lo único que le interesa es ganar dinero con las comidas... Lo primero que debería hacer es quitar el cartel de bar cafetería si sólo funciona como restaurante! Una vez que la camarera me dijo que no nos podíamos sentar fuera pregunté por el encargado y fui a hablar con él qué bueno es un camarero que en otras ocasiones nos ha atendido porque somos clientes aunque no solemos ir mucho pero sí que antes de la pandemia llegamos a ir a almorzar muchas veces o a cenar.... pero la actitud deja mucho que desear la respuesta de él al decirle que solamente íbamos a utilizar la mesa para tomar algo y que iba a ser por breve tiempo.. que no estaríamos más de un cuarto de hora allí sentados, pero respuesta fue que el propietario no lo permitía....SÓLO EXCUSAS... le dije que pondría mi opinión en google para dejar constancia porque me parecía una falta de tacto y falta de profesionalidad!!! Encima han subido los precios porque finalmente optamos por tomarnos el cortado en la barra y nos cobraron 2,30 por un cortadito pequeño y uno largo...en resumen para no volver ni recomendar!!!! When looking for a quiet cozy place to sit down and have a beautiful dinner there's no better than here. Of course when travelling in another country you can't expect all the locals to speak your language, and unfortunately my Spanish isn't as strong as I'd like! A little Google translate cured that though! My wife and I had a beautiful steak cooked medium rare with a side of sweet peppers and fries and some complementary breads. Everything was delicious.
