Restaurante 77 — Restaurant in Ayora

Lo siento por habla en English! I just had dinner at my favorite restaurant in Ayora - Restaurante 77. It’s a wonderful spot with such friendly, loving people running it - José and Yolanda just finished running it so well, and now Anca and Victor are doing a great job keeping it going great, with lots of the same recipes and meals I love!! It’s so nice having a ‘family’ with them all when I am away from my family. The food - it is soo good!! First plates, don’t sleep on the ‘lomo’ (pork loin), fois gras, vegetables - they are all soo good. I love their entricote and fillet mignon, but also their fish is really fresh and good as well! Good, fresh fish is hard to get in Ayora, but here is great. Thank you to Anca and Victor for working so hard for us to enjoy our meals so much. ...

We booked very last minute and upon arrival were welcomed by Jose and what a host he was. Attentive, helpful and even gives Spanish lessons. The food was simply incredible, for the main I had steak my partner lamb and we didn’t want it to end. The decor is traditionally Spanish and I love how it is family ran, Jose at the front, mum cooking and we even met their son who again was also welcoming. We will return without a doubt and will strongly recommend to anyone visiting - a class act all round - Muchas gracias tu comida es simplemente...

Lovely Spanish restaurant with a very nice and attentive owner. The food was excellent stuffed peppers to start were delicious and lamb shoulder was very tender. Venison was tasty although we would have preferred it traditionally fried or roasted and pink in the middle with a berry sauce but enjoyed it anyway. Desserts were fantastic. Altogether....we will...
