El Forn del Casino (1661) — Restaurant in Banyalbufar

I had a long day of driving around the island and all I wanted was a nice place to sit down and have a glass of wine. I got so much more than just that at Es Forn des Casino. First, I was warmly greeted and welcomed in by Luis and Maritza, the owners of the cafe. The cafe is adorned with the most beautiful decor and you certainly feel a sense of stepping back in time as you walk through it. I ordered the “special sangria”—which by the way, is not on the menu. But OH MY GOD it is the best sangria I’ve had here. It is certainly very unique and sooooo delicious. Even though it’s a summery drink, it’s honestly good for any time of the year in my opinion! My friend and I ended up staying there for at least 2-3 hours after ordering a bottle of wine and a platter of cheese and meats. This spot is a must-visit, not just because the drinks and food are absolutely amazing but because the owners treat you like family the moment you walk through those doors or sit down at a table outside. Another year, another beautiful trip to my favorite restaurant in the world. This time, we ventured to try the dinner menu, and boy were we impressed. Easily the best burger I’ve ever had in my life, with caramelized cabbage ( which this reviewer has never had before) and a divine local goat cheese that was to die for. Every time I’m here I feel like I’m family, and hey, isn’t that what it’s all about? 10000000000/10 stars as always, and I can’t wait to enjoy another meal at Es Forne.

My friends and I had hands down one of the best meals in Mallorca at this spot! Such incredible service and amazing tasty food. We had delicious malvasia wine that our server had hand picked local to Banyalbufar. For dinner we had the mixed pa amb oli of sobrasada and jamón ibérico, burgers, gazpacho, tortilla española. The servers were all kind, attentive, and went above and beyond. The restaurant has a gorgeous outdoor patio in downtown Banyalbufar steps away from a 360 overlook of the beach and the local bus stop. A perfect spot for before or after the beach.
