Prado Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Benahavís

We’ve been going here for a few years and we were always happy to come. But after today we’re never going again!

First off, here on Google it says the restaurant opens at 4pm. On the website and infront of the restaurant it said 5pm. However, after asking staff at 4:40pm they told us they open at 6pm. Luckily, we were only 5 minutes away!

The prices increased but the quality decreased immensely. My mother and I had the set menu for 25€, all store bought sauces and same salad for every starter dish.

My father decided to take the tiger prawns for 32€ and he had the exact same prawns i had for my prawns, avocado and mango salad. Horrendous!

On top of all of that the waitress we had never once smiled at us nor any other guests.

A big disappointment since the restaurant is quite pretty and had a great atmosphere and the food used to be okay. We will...

Beware of drinks trick they do with Vogue. Happy hour.

Vogue is using its sister restaurant to seat outside. If you order a drink from vogue during happy hour. But you move to prado to sit outside. They will not tell you that the drinks are not coming from Vogue. You will be charged full price Prado prices. We ordered in Vogue and live music was too loud. We moved to Prado. Got the second drink went to pay and they charged both drinks from prado. However. Very unfair. You can order food and eat it outside in prado grounds no charge. But drinks is a trick. Vogue. You need to make it clear to customers ordering. Not everyone asks about this little complication you...

We have been coming here regularly since 2017 and have noticed some recent negative changes. We booked a table for 4 for last Saturday. It took quite some time for somebody to notice us and find our table. The reason for that, was that there were only two waitresses on duty all evening. Service was slow due to lack of staff.
