We were simply looking for a place to have breakfast in Benalmádena and ended up – almost by accident – at Churros & You. And what a happy accident it turned out to be.

From the moment we walked in, we could tell this place was loved by the locals – always a promising sign. We managed to grab the last available table, and quickly realized we had stepped into what felt like a family-run café. There was a warm, heartfelt vibe in the air – even though we didn’t understand the language, we felt it.

The café itself isn’t much to look at. It’s noisy, a bit crowded, and the décor is pretty basic. But somehow, it works. The staff are kind, smiling, and impressively quick – despite being clearly busy.

As the name suggests, the café’s signature item is churros – and they serve them the traditional Spanish way: warm and crispy, ready to be dipped into either coffee or thick hot chocolate. That’s exactly what everyone else was doing, so naturally, we followed suit.

We also tried a sandwich – nothing special, just fine. And the churros? They tasted just like churros usually do – crisp, light, and freshly made. Not better than elsewhere, but certainly not worse. What stood out was not the food, but the feeling.

Because despite the noise, the plain chairs, and the average food, it was a truly lovely place to be. It had soul. It had warmth. It felt good.

In short: a charming, local spot – not for the food, but for...

Churros & You is a great place to enjoy churros con chocolate and other traditional Spanish dishes. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Benalmádena.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Churros & You, and I was very impressed with the food and service. I started with the churros con chocolate, which were absolutely delicious. The churros were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the chocolate was rich and decadent.

In addition to the great food, the service at Churros & You was also top-notch. The waiter was friendly and attentive, and he made sure that I had everything I needed.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Churros & You. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy churros and other traditional Spanish dishes.

I hope...

Churros were a bit greasy. I also ordered a cake and it was tasty but also a bit stale. However the worst issue was a family who allowed their two small children to scream incessantly while playing at the foosball table at the back. As a mother of two young children, I understand how hard it can be to take your kids to a restaurant but the staff could clearly see that the children were making the environment unbearable. This was not a normal scream but rather an ear piercing screech, non-stop for over 30 minutes. Rather than politely speak to the children's parents, the staff allowed most of the patrons to be forced to collect their food and move to outdoor tables to try to enjoy their churros in peace. The problem with that is that the restaurant is located next to a bar which means that my children and I (pregnant) were surrounded by...

As a foreigner I wasn't familiar with the traditions around when to eat churros, so when we arrived at this Churreria at 2pm, we were told that churros would not be served until 5pm - bit disappointing, but we stayed for coffee and a croissant. Service was excellent and the place was well presented and clean. Certainly on the more pricey side compared to other cafes in the area.
