The Lilac Tree Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Benalmádena

I’m commuting to the Pueblo every fortnight to renovate my apartment, and without doubt, the Lilac Tree is an essential part of my routine. The food and drink quality is outstanding at a very reasonable price, but the highlight is the service. It’s truly outstanding. Benalmadena Pueblo is blessed with some outstanding restaurants with epic food and service. However; the staff at TLT eclipse them all. Humble, professional, proactive, attentive, polite and engaging. All of them, without exception are amazing. I really STRONGLY recommend you give the place a try ASAP - especially for tapas on a Sunday night, or any night for standard menu, apart from Wednesday - the staff get a brief respite on this, their day off. 11/10 doesn’t get close to expressing how good the TLT experience is. Meal was alright. First choose of startertypically 5 wanted they had none so ordered chicken wings but the chef said she wasn't pleased with them so again change of starters. Sunday menu was very disappointing for the 5 who had it, not what you would consider overwhelming. One ordered the Lamb dinner and initially served a Lamb Sunday lunch so had to wait for correct order. The Rump steak was good. Lovely location, in the back streets of Pueblo, very quiet and the food was excellent, no complaints. Our waitress was lovely, she happily re-arranged all the tables herself to accommodate our party of 7. Also, we were unsure of how the piri piri sauce that covered the prawns would taste so she went and grabbed us some to try.

It was great to also have Estrella Galicia on tap, really enjoyed that, plus we visited in the afternoon which was happy hour.
