Cukyò — Restaurant in Benalmádena

In terms of food, this resaurant is ok - although as far as being authentic Italian, not so sure.....we ordered the caprese salad, a well known traditional italian salad comprising of mozzarella, tomato and basil - the tomatoes were bland (a shame as this is Spain!!), mozarella unremarkable and basil non-existent!. When we checked with the waiter why there was no basil, we were told if that's what the kitchen put out, that's it. The focacia is NOT focacia, but their basic pizza dough....the pizza's are ok, nothing to write home about, with no real seasoning and a lot of dough. Overall we were sadly disappointed, this is not the first time we've visited this restaurant (we thought we'd give it a second chance) - such as shame as it takes very little to be authentic.....afraid would...

We had such a lovely dinner here! The attention we received since walking in from the staff was beyond expectation! Dominico and Iolanda recommended the best dishes; they were so kind and the service was super fast. The food was delicious, as was the campari and Italian beer! We had mortadela with pistachio pizza and it was to die for! The best thing is that they are animal friendly!!! Thanks to the whole staff for a wonderful dinner and to the Chefs! We highly recommend this...

Excellent place! I love this italian place! Pizzas are super good, they have their own creations which I will definetly go back and eat again! Pasta dishes have a lovely portion (perhaps if you are too hungry, they fall short) and are very tasteful!!

Service deserves a paragraph on its own. The waiters are super nice, they explain everything so good and detailed. Simply GREAT!

Also, you have plenty and easy parking space in the place! Do yourself a solid favour and go...
