Pizzeria Vistamare — Restaurant in Benalmádena

It was our third visit over the years , the food is pleasant but I want to share our experience .

We were served by the owner , sat quickly and asked for drinks , I drink dry white wine with ice , he ridiculed me for the ice , looked to the sky and sneered at me . I ignored and smiled saying my choice , my preference .

On ordering food ( two pizzas , 23 euros total ) we asked for wine menu , he said he didn’t have one , what did we want . Husband said equivalent to house red , light to go with pizzas , and he said yes I have one .

It was pleasant , nothing special , but perfect for the meal .

Bill arrived , wine was 30 euros .

We can afford it , not an issue other than the man was either trying to make a point or he is on the make , neither sit well with me .

Spent 10 days in pueblo , all excellent meals and even when we ate at the best restaurant in the village , bill 170 euros for two ( and asked for wine recommendations ) the wine did not exceed 27 euros . The class of that owner , who had a huge wine list , started at the very cheapest range going upwards , which meant that his customer could choose their wine within budget , making the experience not only pleasant but professional .

I make the review for two reasons

I don’t like anyone sneering at a personal choice that is neither offensive or important to anyone than myself .

2.The owner of this place did not know our financial situation , this could have been an issue , that a bottle of wine was well over the cost of the food order . I would hate someone on a budget put in this position .

We could have asked for the price , but if that man was worth his salt , he would have told us the price to check it was ok , or quite simply have a wine list .

Beware , it left a bad taste in my mouth dispute the...

This restaurant has all the hallmarks to be amazing, the restaurant is perfectly located which gives views down to Benalmadena and Fuengirola. We arrived at 3:10pm and on sitting down we were greeted by the waiter who asked if we wanted to see the menu, as we wanted food we asked for the menu and two beers, the beers arrived promptly which was fine but the waiter was fidgeting about then asked if we wanted food which we confirmed we did but told him we wanted to take our time looking at the menu, enjoy our drink and view before ordering, he then walked away and came back a few minutes later and asked if we wanted to order we needed to do it now as the kitchen closed at 4:00pm, this was a surprise as it was 3:15pm and we were ordering Italian food which must be the quickest of any food to make. The waiter then removed the menus from the table.and went about moving tables and chairs in the restaurant. As we wanted to order food we put this down to a communication error and picked up the menus to see what we wanted, as the waiter was busy moving tables and chairs it took ages to get his attention to order the food. Notwithstanding the above the food was good only to be let down by the service, as customers service means a lot to us we are not likely to return to this restaurant. For anyone willing to give this a try it might be worth attending well before closing time to ensure the service...

We are going to dinner in this restaurant no reception if it is a woman who asks us to wait 5 minutes for a table to be released. We are waiting...... 10 minutes later we settle down. We ordered a dish of penné and a pizza, after 30 minutes not seeing anything happen I get up and ask or is our order seeing the tables arrived after us already served, the boss literally throws me on me saying that that was how the deadlines are normal etc .... my pasta finally arrive, but not the pizza of my wife !!!!! I taste the pinnae but do not want my wife's pizza arrive we decide rather than talk again to this lady to settle all of our bill without waiting for our rest ...... j tells the server that 45 minutes to be served is too long ..... The boss rather than questioning her mediocre service and trying to procrastinate to clearly said textually: "with the Arabs is always the same !!!! " Madam who will certainly read this message, you have a restaurant ...... the racist remarks that you made against me are reprehensible and punishable under the Spanish law, YOU ARE RACIST! You insulted me, I leave you this comment Madam THE RACIST OF BENALMÁDENA This establishment is to flee !!!! The nauseating smell of this Racist makes his dishes infects! Racist boss! To flee

Vamos a cenar en este restaurante sin recepción si es una mujer que nos pide que esperemos 5 minutos para que se lance una mesa. Esperamos...... 10 minutos después nos instalamos. Pedimos un plato de penné y una pizza, después de 30 minutos sin ver nada, me levanto y pregunto si nuestra orden de ver las mesas llegó después de que ya hayamos servido, el jefe literalmente me tira a mí diciendo que así fue como los plazos son normales, etc .... finalmente llegó mi pasta, ¡pero no la pizza de mi esposa! Probé las pinnas pero no quiero que llegue la pizza de mi esposa sino que decidimos Hable de nuevo con esta señora para saldar toda nuestra cuenta sin esperar nuestro descanso ...... j le dice al servidor que 45 minutos para ser atendidos es demasiado largo ..... El jefe, en lugar de cuestionar su mediocre servicio e intentar posponer las cosas, dijo claramente textualmente: "¡Con los árabes siempre es lo mismo! " Señora, que seguramente leerá este mensaje, usted tiene un restaurante ...... los comentarios racistas que hizo contra mí son reprensibles y punibles según la ley española, ¡ERES RACISTA! Me has insultado Os dejo este comentario Señora EL RACISTA DE BENALMÁDENA Este establecimiento es para huir !!!! ¡El olor nauseabundo de este racista hace que sus platos contagien! Jefe racista! Huir

Nous sommes aller dîner dans ce restaurant aucun accueil si ce n est une femme qui nous demande d attendre 5 minutes qu une table se libère . Nous attendons......

10 minutes plus tard on nous installe. Nous avons commandé un plat de penné et une pizza, au bout de 30 minutes ne voyant rien arriver je me lève et demande ou en est notre commande voyant les tables arrivées après nous déjà servi, la patronne se jette littéralement sur moi en me disant que c était comme ça que les délais sont normaux etc.... mes pâtes arrivent enfin, mais pas la pizza de mon épouse!!!!!je goûte les pennes mais ne voyant pas la pizza de ma femme arriver nous décidons plutôt que de reparler à cette dame de régler la totalité de notre addition sans attendre notre reste...... j indique au serveur que 45 minutes pour être servi est trop long.....

La patronne plutôt que de remettre en question son service médiocre et d essayer de temporiser à clairement dit textuellement : «  avec les arabes c est toujours pareille !!!! »

Madame qui lirez certainement ce message, vous tenez un restaurant...... les propos racistes que vous avez tenu à mon égard sont répréhensibles et punissable au yeux de la loi espagnole,
