Restaurante El Parador Pueblo — Restaurant in Benalmádena

Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience here yesterday. We had eaten here a few days earlier and the service and food had been fine. However yesterday we waited for over half an hour and, aside from being given a menu, there was no service whatsoever. When I tried to catch the waiter's attention (after the 30 minutes of being what felt like being wilfully ignored!) to at least order a drink the response was a rude hand motion to calm down. And still we waited and still no one came to our table! We eventually left after a further 10 minutes so had spent 40-45 minutes sitting at a table in 30 degree heat without being able to order even a drink. We have been visiting Benalmadena pueblo for the past 15 years and this is the first time we have had such a negative experience. The village is full of amazing restaurants with top class food and service. It is quite frankly baffling that this restaurant seems so busy when paying customers are treated so poorly. My recommendation is to walk on by and spend your money in ANY other restaurant the pueblo has on offer - all of which are...

I'm sorry but from our side we cannot recommend this "restaurant". It was very full and loud and we got only places outside on simple tables and plastic seats and just beaide of the big smelling garbage boxes. We ordered pizzas and a calamari plate and ask for any vegetable food. But as vegatables they could offered us only a pizza with shrimps or Pepperoni. So we ordered Peperoni and the served us a Pizza Salami with Chorizo Peperoni. 🤨 The calamari plate was nearly cold and the calamari like gum, it wasn't really eatable. All in all we were dissatisfied about this short stay beside the garbage containers and were wondering about other good stars and comments here. Beside this, try not to come with the car. The service was fairly good, kind and professional. The good was also nice, we’ve ordered the scrambled eggs with jamón and potato, Galician octopus and calamari. The octopus tasted very nice but the potato was very hard and it was still partially raw - also the portion of the potato was very little, I was left hungry. I’ve also tried the cheesecake which was surprisingly good - it was not sweet which I really liked. However, the put a strawberry sauce on top which ruins the cake as all you can taste is the sauce.
