Moana Burgers & Cocktails Betanzos — Restaurant in Betanzos

To begin, we entered the establishment and it appeared to have a lovely atmosphere with low lighting and wooden tables, but we were quickly led into a back room with hospital style fluorescent lighting, loud music, and plastic tables, chairs and decor. Not a window in sight. To note, the servers were all extremely nice and friendly and we have no complaints about any of that. We were brought a plate of ‘appetisers’ of what we assume to be salchichas but strangely pale and oily, and to top it all off: with a hair that was not either of ours lying atop one piece. Upon closer inspection, there was hair, food and an eyelash on the table as well. The food was then brought to the table and it was questionable to say the least. There was a strangely creamy salsa on the burger, alongside fries with cheese and what claimed to be bacon, but was practically inedible. Alongside this, the sauces that were given (ketchup etc.) were in plastic packets like in a fast food restaurant- which was not the expected quality considering the price of the food. overall, it was a disappointing and shocking experience, saved only by the service, but even then, we will not...

Good place to get a burger. The menu is quite extensive and they are creative with the flavours (while also having the classics). Maybe learn some basic Spanish before ordering, since there was a miscommunication about the cooking temperature (ordered it medium, got it blue). The waitress was kind enough to try and fix the issue, by getting another burger which was cooked slightly more (still a bit too raw for me). Hamburguesería ubicada en pleno pueblo de Betanzos. Cuenta con terraza cubierta (entiendo que no tienen problema con tener a tu mascota ahí, pero no lo sé con certeza) y después en el interior con 5-6 mesas. Hemos ido a cenar un viernes y la apertura de cocina es a las 20.30 A su favor he de decir que nos han tomado la comanda antes de la apertura de Cocina para tener en mesa las fabulosas hamburguesas que hemos comido sobre las 20.35 o unos minutos más. El trato de los camareros genial. Súper agradables, cercanos y siempre preocupados de que todo estuviese bien. En cuanto a la comida, nos hemos decantado a probar la Smash (mi mujer) y la Valhalla (yo). La hemos compartido y casualmente a ambos nos ha gustado más la que cada uno pidió pero decir que ambas estaban buenísimas. Pan Brioche, tamaño muy generoso (200gr de carne) y con la carne al punto como a nosotros nos gusta. Ambas acompañadas de patatas fritas (no de bolsa sino reciente cortaditas y crujientes). La verdad, muy contentos. Estoy seguro que si cuando volvamos por Betanzos tenemos antojo de hamburguesa, volveremos por ahí.
