bramar — Restaurant in Bilbao

We found this place when we were walking by and I’m so glad we did. There are 2 floors of seating which is perfect if you’re looking for a place to sit and study with a coffee and bocadillos. They have a QR code to see the menu, you can go up to the counter to order but it’s best to sit as they will bring you food.

We ordered 2 tortillas de patata and when I tell you that they took tortillas to another level I mean it. They also gave us a piece of bread on the side which is typical here in Bilbao but to my surprise the bread was so soft and delicious! I BELIEVE My tortilla had mozzarella and bacon with some creamy spread that I thoroughly enjoyed

My friends had cheese and bacon on top and it was also delicious

We ordered the Mocaccino latte chocolate. I got white chocolate and my friend got regular chocolate. They were very good but a bit too sweet for my tasting so next time I will order it with less chocolate but still very good.

We also got a lotus cheese cake I believe and when I tell you it was scrumptious and sweet I MEAN IT.

We had a little time before our bus, so the decision to have a coffee with tarta de queso at Bramar was spontaneous — and it turned out to be just perfect! As fans of specialty coffee, we were looking for a good spot, and this place hit the target.

The staff were very friendly and polite, service was quick, and the atmosphere was warm and full of good vibes. They had several varieties of tarta de queso; we tried the classic one — no regrets! Absolutely delicious: perfectly baked, not too sweet, with a subtle salty twist that balanced the flavor beautifully.

The coffee was also right to my taste, with nice acidity notes and a light-to-medium roast - I loved it! ¡Muchísimas gracias, chicos!...

Surprised by all the positive reviews. This spot is “for the gram” but I didn’t love the food. Took 25 minutes for food to come to our table (and we ordered mainly coffee, ready made tortillas and an acai bowl).

Coffee did not taste good - I like quality coffee (third wave) and they advertise “speciality” outside the shop but I really didn’t like the burnt flavor and didn’t finish my drink.

Dragon fruit acai bowl was pretty good (hence 2*) but I’d prefer fresh fruit over...
