Bar cafetería Jícara — Restaurant in Buenavista del Norte

Ended up in this village by chance and we were hungry! We found a square, and there was a full restaurant! When we stood in front and looked to the right, we glimpsed another restaurant! The place looks unassuming and very simple! It turned out to be a fluke!

What great food! Genuine Spanish cooking and felt like we were at a Spaniard's home for dinner! The owner is super nice and despite the language barrier you can still communicate by looking at chalkboards and reading inside! The owner cooks and serves!

We took in tapas dishes! Too bad I won't come by again this time, I'm really want to ordering the rest of the menu!

If you have to give a minus, I must point out that the cleaning of the toilet, could have been better, but right now the food outshines this fact! Even the prices is very moderate!

If you are in the village, please do yourself a favor....go there and order the best thing you have probably eaten on your trip...

A nice Bar and Restaurant quite in the canter of Buena Vista del Norte. The waiter (I think he is also the owner) was very friendly and the food was real good. Also it's a great place if you are vegan. The waiter knewed exactly what my friend wanted to eat and, more important in this case, what not. He made a very good vegan plate for her. Usually it's not so easy in Spain to get a vegan meal without long explanation. Also my Burger was fresh made and very good. Price was fair and we will definitly...

This the essence of Tenerife! Great food. Great atmosphere. Quality service. No habla inglés? That is your problem. But we managed. If you are hungry you will learn Spanish in two shakes of a lamb’s tail. The food was just yummy! The owner/waiter/cook/chef was very friendly and helpful. We found this place by accident.
