I booked this hotel months ago as I knew there was no way I could walk the rest of the way into Burgos from Villafranca as it was a long distance on the Camino. This is a nice hotel. Room #117 has a double bed with firm mattress, great air conditioning, strong wifi signal, TV, desk and chair, safe, clean bathroom with modern fixtures including a shower with floor to over six feet in height water jets for a relaxing spa experience after the day's long walk. The two ladies at the front desk were very professional and courteous. I requested a non-smoking room and although I found an ashtray on the desk the room had no cigarette smell in it. The air conditioning is loud and drowned out street noise. The only negative is the town itself. Not the people as they smile and say hello when they see a stranger out walking, but there just isn't anything to do or see here. There are two bars plus the one in the hotel. There isn't a grocery store or even a shop of any kind. I didn't eat in the hotel so I can not comment on...

I liked the bathroom as it had a decent amount of space to out your stuff on and the shower was powerful enough for me.||We had dinner which was slow as the receptionist was also the waitress. The tuna salad was decent but avoid the prawn omelette which had an aftertaste of tinned peppers which overwhelmed the rest of the dish so you couldn't eat it. We lefted it on the dish and didn't get it deducted off our bill.||Breakfast looked like leftover bread from the dinner before - toasted. My friend did get a croissant which looked a bit better. For 6.50 it was expensive for what it was, better to head into into Burgos for a better range of cafes and...
