Bar Guillermina — Restaurant in Cabrales

Great fabadas, cabrito y endive with Cabrales cheese. There staff, Flor in particular, was super friendly. Owner was a trip. Warmer reception than other places in town. We went back and had eggs and house made chorizo for dinner the next night. We really enjoyed that meal as well. I read other's reviews. Keep in mind the logistics of getting the food and employees up the mountain. We just ordered what they recommended or provided and were happy. In Bilbao I would have different expectations. very bad experience ! I went alone to the restaurant after a hike, the guy working there told me the kitchen was closed, and his answer to my question if I can order a coffee was that I can go and order it alone! 5 min after that a couple came and they ordered food and had it brought to their table. Un trato afable por parte de José, también encargado del Albergue Peña Main, a quien conocí con motivo del contacto que mantuve para reservar cama para una noche en mi Treking, no solicitándome adelanto alguno. Al contrario que en el Albergue Villa de Bulnes (del que no puedo escribir reseña y sería negativa, por que no figura por aquí) quien su joven encargado, un tal Adolfo, me engañó. No me dio alojamiento cuando en un principio me lo aseguraba y días antes de mi viaje, al llamar yo para asegurarlo me dijo que no podía , “que tenía a un grupo completo”( ni fue el quien me llamo para decírmelo, tuve que llamar yo para concretar y me encontré con esta sorpresa) comprobando una vez en el lugar que esa noche estaba sin gente, por lo que inferí que más bien no quiso abrir para una persona sola, para mí. Intente hablar con él para “comentárselo”, lo vi por la tarde pero al encontrarse acompañado desistí y lo dejé para más tarde, pero no pude conseguirlo, ya no lo encontré. LUGAR/ALBERGUE QUE POR ESTA ACTITUD QUE TUVO CONMIGO NO RECOMIENDO POR NO SER DE FIAR Y PODER DEJARTE “TIRADO”. Lo que solucioné en el Albergue Peña Main con José, quien por cierto pude conocer que es tío del jovencito que lleva Villa de Bulnes.
