I regret we have to post a negative review. We have been coming here for years with good service and food but our last visit waa met with poor service. After consideration we decided to give your restaurant another chance. We visited last night with friends and whilst the food was good, the service from the same male server was again sub standard with parts of our order being forgotten and trying to get his attention was difficult, with one of our party having to go to the counter to get service. A very poor show indeed and we are very sorry to exclude this restaurant from the many available in Calpe. Disappointing unfortunately. We hadn’t booked and this was reflected in the rapid pace in which we were served our food and given our bill - in and out in 45 minutes. The food was ok but there are better places in town and especially around the marina. I was surprised to have ordered two portions of garlic prawns to be served one and then charged for two. Found this gem of a Resturant whilst having a wander and I must admit it’s just superb food , I shared the deconstructed prawn cocktail with the wife ( had no choice lol) reasonably priced bottle of wine and we both had the fillet steak cooked exactly how we wanted fresh veg and a peppercorn sauce , was too full for desert but an Irish coffee went down very nicely, now the location is not the most interesting compared say to bombero on the sea front ( been there Also) but I think it’s better check...
