I visited a restaurant that had a proper wood-fired oven – but that doesn’t always guarantee a good pizza. The place had plenty of Google reviews and a high rating of 4.8, so I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, there were no proper seating options, just a few high stools and a counter. The owner (I think he was) mentioned that I could sit at the next bar, order a drink there, and he would bring the pizza over. While this arrangement was fine, it did knock down some points for me.

As for the pizza itself, it tasted really good, but the texture was a big letdown. On the surface, the pizza looked great – the dough seemed good, and the ingredients were of high quality. However, the issue was with the moisture. The bottom was partially burnt, while some of the dough felt undercooked and everything was swimming in grease. I believe the problem was that the pizza was placed directly onto the plate straight out of the oven.

The dough was so soft and soggy that there was no way to pick up a pizza slice and eat it by hand, as you would expect with pizza. When you cut a piece, it collapsed into a mess with the toppings. I imagine that if you order the pizza for home delivery, and it’s delivered in a cardboard box, the moisture would absorb into the box, making it a better experience than eating it fresh in the restaurant.

I’ve seen other places serve pizza on a wooden board, which likely absorbs some of the moisture. Some even use techniques that allow air to reach the bottom of the pizza. So, in this case, I wouldn’t recommend eating it at the restaurant – it might work better when ordered for takeaway...

1st time here on holiday in Magaluf and myself and partner we both were looking for some pizza place.As she is Italian🇮🇹 and myself Croatian🇭🇷, living both in Ireland🇮🇪, we both were looking for some place for our pizza weekend.Thankfully from the 1st shot i find these guys and i can say AMAZING🔥.As our evening wasn't great day to walk as for rainy day so ordered online for our hotel.Expected call to get, but, suprise on the door and delivery guy brought it straight at the room door!! Amazing☺️.Taste of pizza is great and i can freely say even though I try only pizza from these guys, but i can put my hand on 🔥(fire) and say this is BEST PIZZA in TOWN and for cheap price !! Recommend everyone !!. Will try again...
