This place is amazing for children as well as adult. Even better if you’re an adult size kid. This place has it all really from being entertaining and having interactive games to a soft play, min golf and a small water park.
Well the queue were not to bad and because they are near to each other for the interactive games you can see how long the question are so easily move to another activity and come back when the question is shorter. The games itself are worth the wait and they are so fun for children and adults. I’m not sure who had more fun me or the kids?
The mini golf was great and they have two course one for those that taking the general route or a more advanced route for those who are slightly better. Like with all mini golf’s does get busy and at times did have to wait for the person in front to finish their 20 attempt. Overall fun experience for all. Shaded in many part as the heat can be a little overwhelming when waiting around. Which was a bonus.
The soft play have allocated times they run and they must have socks otherwise you will have to buy some at the counter. There was a seating area for the adults to wait which important and very close to the swim part of the park so older children could go there while the younger ones enjoy the soft play. It is divided into two parts for the different ages. With the younger children they requested an adult but you also need socks so remember to have some.
There were food stalls scattered around and as expected was not the most value for money but the pizza slice I had was good. A cafe and place to eat inside which I did not have time for.
If you’re thinking about coming well just do it as it a great experience and all in one place. Get your wrist ban on and scan on to whichever activity...
Read moreAfter reading hit-and-miss reviews I decided it was best to do a drive by before even attempting to visit this place. Discovered that during the off-season, whilst minor covid restrictions were still in place, only 2 of the attractions were open for 17E entry fee (unless you were staying at the hotel in which case you had access to everything). However, for the public bank holiday on 1 Nov, it was open to anyone and everyone for 20E giving access to 8 attractions, which kept two adults, a 16-year old and an 8-year old thoroughly entertained for several hours.
The water splash park was closed during off-season ...understandably too cold.. as were the soft play area and laser beam floor, both of which appeared to be more integral to the hotel, so I'm guessing they were closed because the hotel looked like it was closed.
So on offer were x2 different 18 hole mini golfs, which did need a little TLC to the matting, but were really great fun and I thought well designed. x1 upside down house full of weird and wonderful off the wall things to look at and x5 of the 3D/ 4D indoor simulator type "rides" seating about 16 people each of which in a cinema style room with those chairs you have to buckle into because they move around with the film. Three of these rides have laser guns (wild west shoot out/ zombie shootout/ derelict fairground spooky clown shootout).
Glad to have visited in the offseason as I think coming in the summer would be pretty horrific standing out in 30C heat queuing for the rides. As it was, we walked straight into everything and had a great day out. Staff were polite and helpful and managed to park on-site for...
Read moreWe visited the park for a day, and the kids had a great time. Splash park and soft play is on a timed session basis to ensure it doesn't get overcrowded, which I liked and you can re-enter multiple times if you wish however its unlikely you'll have time if you want to get round the other things. Everything else you can only enter once. There are 2x 4D film experiences, both suitable for young children. Bandits - similar to a 4D experience, but you have a blaster gun and have to shoot rogue bandit robots. Desperados - so much fun! You each sit on your own horse simulator and have a gun. Whilst galloping along like you were on a real horse, you aim and shoot at the moving targets on the screen. It says for all ages, but I'd recommend 6+ as your kids do need to be able to hold on properly independently and hold a gun to shoot. The house - again it says for all ages but my kids (6 & 7) were scared from the off and went round the whole place, crying, wanting to get out but if you don't have mardy kids then I'd recommend as a fun experience. We didn't get time for the mini golf or steambot lazers, and zombies is for 9+, which my kids are too young for. The food was fine, pretty standard. Splash park has lockers, changing rooms/toilets and lifeguards. Soft play is bigger than I expected, kids loved this the most, take socks or you will need to buy some. Parking is pot luck as its street parking, so we ended up circling quite a few times until we fell lucky with a space a few...
