Great breakfast. beautiful and well located hotel, with beach, restaurants and shops around. The rooms are nice but not isolated you can hear the noise from the street even in the 4th floor. Noisy refrigerator, badly designed shower in which you have to bend towards the floor (the only place where you can put your shampoo, not practical) to get your stuff. Not enough places to hang towels. Cheap toilet paper. They just give body lotion, conditioner and shampoo and soap (of very poor quality). I’ve to many hotels of this level and they always provide you with shower hat, hair comb, toothpaste and toothbrush, shaver, even a sewing kit. WORST part is the staff: young people who have no idea how to treat customers, don’t have someone with experience to check if what they are doing is right (we’ve never seen the manager), and whose level of English makes them sound disrespectful. We arrived at 10 am (we had left a note at the time of booking asking if it was possible to have the room ready sooner but never heard back). When we booked in February the check in was at 2pm and they were called “the Plaza Calviá beach Managed by Melia”. When we got there we were told that it was at 3pm. I told them “in your website it says check in is at 2pm”. The receptionist said they rebranded and changed to “Innside” so it wouldn’t be possible to get the room before 3. rebranding was poorly done if you don’t inform customers and don’t update your website. What was worse was that people who had arrived after us were getting their rooms at 2pm. worst part of the stuff is at the transparent pool. They all speak super loud which is really annoying. A very rude lifeguard who instead of watching the pool (and controlling the people who are not respecting the safety rules like no diving cause the pool is 1,30 m and people who were doing that can have a serious accident). Instead, he’s either no where to be found or walking around talking to his coworkers and occasionally telling the ones who lay on the bed “if you want to stay in this one, pay” (those were his words in English). He didn’t even tell us how much, he just assumed that we wouldn’t have the money I guess. People come to the pool from outside the hotel for just 20€ and it looks like they give them “priority” cause they spend money on the bar. They are screaming, getting drunk, acting like they are the only ones there. They don’t care there are kids and other people who are there more to relax than to party, and the staff doesn’t seem to do so either. They even charge you for towels at the pool! And you can’t even pay there, you have to go down to the reception and pay for a “ticket”, really impractical. I’ve never seen anything like this. We weren’t even informed about it at the time of check in. There aren’t enough chairs in the shadow and the problem is people “reserve” a million chairs by only putting one towel on them and then they leave for hours. rules specify it’s forbidden to reserve chairs but the stuff does nothing about it. So you arrive and you want to sit but can’t cause all the chairs are “reserved” by people who aren’t there and may not come back, and you tell the employees and they do nothing about it. Such a beautiful place is completely ruined by the staff who is not willing to even help. They should learn how to handle this thing cause it’s not fair for the clients. I understand they want to have “young” visitors but putting young staff who don’t know how to help clients and no one responsible and experienced near them to solve problems won’t do you any good. They are completely unable to manage the place properly. I’ve been a customer of Melia for many years now and I’m definitely not coming back...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at INNSiDE by Meliá Calviá Beach, and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay.
I want to give a special mention to the Guest Experience Manager, Lara Salas. She went the extra mile to plan a surprise birthday celebration for my mother, taking care of every little detail. Her attentiveness was unmatched, and it is evident that she is a true asset to the Meliá Hotels International brand and the hospitality industry as a whole. Having stayed at numerous hotels, I can confidently say that Lara's personal service and dedication were the best I have ever experienced. I wish her all the success in her career in the hospitality industry.
Although the hotel is rated as a four-star property, the service we received made us feel like we were staying at a five-star establishment. The ambiance, interior design, and calm vibe of the hotel create a perfect symphony that contributes to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival when we were upgraded to better rooms. We stayed in The Loft Sea View rooms, which were absolutely amazing. The interior design was top-notch, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout our stay.
The breakfast at the hotel was delightful, offering a wide variety of options with good quality. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to order a custom omelet to my liking, which added a personalized touch to the dining experience.
The location of the hotel is unbeatable, with numerous shops and restaurants in close proximity, and the beach just a stone's throw away. It was incredibly convenient to have such easy access to the beach, allowing us to enjoy the sun and sand without any hassle.
One of the highlights of our stay was the rooftop pool. The views from the pool area were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. With a live DJ playing soothing lounge music, it created the perfect ambiance to unwind and soak in the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant and bar at the rooftop served fantastic drinks, food, and snacks, making it an ideal spot to spend leisurely hours.
Overall, my experience at INNSiDE by Meliá Calviá Beach was nothing short of outstanding. The exceptional service, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, prime location, and the amazing rooftop pool all contributed to a memorable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly remarkable...

Other reviews correctly refer to the fact that the paint is both literally and metaphorically still wet at this hotel. But, everything is new and unused, so it's far from a bad thing.
For example our room had a completely glass walled shower, allowing TV viewing while showering! The bad? Small amounts of water leaked from the bottom into the living area. Did this make the experience bad? Not really.
The furnishings look like Ikea and our room had both a proper fridge and a mini sink in an Ikea like metal frame unit with drawers under and hanging area. Quite near, but still Ikea'ish. Awesome wiiide glass sided balcony, no sea views from ours but very nice.
Others have commented that check in was very very slow. Our experience was not instant but not that bad either. The 'problem' seems to be insufficient numbers of reception staff and loads of people arriving and checking in simultaneously. Talking of reception staff let me say that you could not ask for more pleasant and affable people. (Sergi is awesome guy). The bad? Well nobody seems to know what they are actually supposed to be doing - and when we asked the standard response was ' it is a new hotel'. So clearly new = lack of clarity and procedure. I call this lack of project management. Another example of this was when we tried to charge our bar bill to our room, one day we were told we couldn't do this, the net ' no problem'. Teensie annoying contradictions.
Back to new building snags there have also been issues with the 'skypool' leaking and maintenance on a scary looking boom crane we're again 'sealing away!' Awesome roof level glass sided and hlass panel bottomed pool tho.
OK, think you'll re getting the idea. Other negatives? Think there is parking, but zero info on this ( or anything else).
Pool bar service is slow and so so.Got ignored for 20 minutes night before last. Bad for a top hotel.
Massive, massive wall TV in the square right under the hotel right next to a great diverse food court, watched England lose down there on Wed and maybe again tonight;).
OK, let's sum up. If you can get a deal here don't walk run and take it it. When the prices double, which they will when it gets up to speed you might wanna think twice - it's nice - but Shangri la...
