The Park Coffee & Bar — Restaurant in Camargo

Informal dining set up with indoors and terrace sitting. On Mother’s Day Sunday many places were closed. The opened ones were full when we arrived. This was one accepted to seat us for prepared food or snacks indoors, because the kitchen was too busy. Some customers were complaining of 1.5 hours wait. The terrace had no space. The waitress was fast, even though she looked as in training. But she answered all our questions about the food items said yes to all our requests from behind the counter. And was kind to serve us at the table. The sandwiches and Spanish omelets were very good, and they heated up everything for us. Before leaving we decided on take-out tapas to avoid cooking in the evening. The Chef is a young chap from Cuba, brought to Spain by his parents very young. He arranged for the takeout to be the way we requested and came out to meet us. Even during the hectic service hours, everyone seemed engaged and truly looking after the patrons. The place is ideally located right next to Parque de Cros playground, offering an unbeatable view of the entire play area from the terrace.

The waitress was absolutely lovely - very kind and attentive.

This place is a brilliant concept - great for parents who want to enjoy a proper meal without worrying about keeping the kids occupied. The combination of good food, friendly service, and that perfect playground view makes it a winner for families.

Encargamos con 3 días de antelación una paella de marisco para 5 personas. Precio 70€ (50€ de la paella + 20€ de la fianza). Nos entregan una paellera con 6 langostinos, 7 mejillones, 6 tiras de pimiento y más de un kilo de arroz seco, sin sabor, sin olor, sin absolutamente ningún ingrediente mas y que fue en un 70% a la basura. Se habla a posteriori con el encargado y después de un largo "bla bla bla" por su parte en el que reconoce que quien hizo ese encargo no sabía hacer paellas, no queda resuelto en el momento ese desaguisado como debería haberlo resuelto, devolviendo el dinero injustamente cobrado. Éramos clientes MUY asiduos y desde esa paella (siento ofender al resto de las paellas por llamarla así) no volveremos más que puntualmente y por supuesto que a encargar paellas...
