Yass — Restaurant in Campos

So I walked into Yass looking for directions to a butcher shop. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. The owner Corrado, who is from Bologna Italy but living in Mallorca for 10 years suggested a sandwich. So I ordered the ham and cheese. It was on toasted bread. The ham was kissed on both sides by his plancha, the cheese was warm also, it had a slice of ripe tomato, olive oil and salt. As you can see from the picture it didn’t look much different than a hundred other sandwiches. But Let me tell you it was the most delicious sandwich I’ve ever tasted. As I finished my second beer it took all my will power not to order a second sandwich. Today I’m returning with a friend and my kids for Friday pasta day to try his bolognese and carbonara. And of course we are going to order every sandwich...
