Dinner at El Corral de Castano felt like an evening of unexpected gifts. We ordered a glass of vermouth and a glass of Ribera red wine. It came with a free tapa of spinach croquette and green olives. The croquette was very creamy and warm inside, crunchy outside. The 1/2 portion of spring salad mix with grilled cheese, roasted red peppers, mango, and nuts—humongous! The staff was incredibly nice and gave us the recommendations above.
The place itself had a warm traditional feel with a touch of quirkiness.
