Casa Curro Montoya — Restaurant in Carmona

Recommended by our tour guide, Alfonso (via the Parador) this restaurant was fantastic. We were a little worried by some reviews, but our experience was great. We reserved a table and arrived to a beautiful setting. We asked for recommendations on wine and it was excellent (Rioja reserve). Salad was different (pickled beets, cheese, strawberries) but wonderful. Suckling pig chops and lamb chops were the best. We speak virtually no Spanish and they speak virtually no English. Yet, we had fun with the staff. Wish we had a place like...

I would leave zero stars but unfortunately it's not possible. Food is expensive, tastless, calamari 5pcs 20€ served without the lemon and if you asked them for a lemon you get told off..

We have got insulted, they showed us a middle finger (proof on the picture and apparently he was just scratching, and they wanted to call a police on us...) and they charged us 9€ for the service!

Never have been in the worse touristic trap "restaurant" so please avoid this place, save your time,...

This was our favourite place to eat. The staff were so friendly and so cool!!! Im reviewing this a few months after the visit and I can clearly remember the deliciousness of the artichoke hearts, mushroom, little fried fish, jamon of course, and the wine. Man I'd love to be back here. Ate out in a lot of places around. We went back to this spot...
