Aroma de México — Restaurant in Cartagena

There are many nice restaurants on La Manga - you really shouldn't go to this one! Attracted by the nice presentation, we wanted to spend a nice evening in this restaurant. Unfortunately, the stressed and obviously annoyed waitress was not able to do her job even halfway, despite only partially occupied tables. Our inquiries were answered with annoyed eye rolls - I have never experienced this before and it's a record. The food came at different times, so that in the end each of us ate alone - well, that wouldn't be bad, but when the fajitas arrived without tortillas and the young lady couldn't manage to bring them despite asking four times, our initially positive mood was gone and we left the hardly seasoned and therefore simply tasteless food and ordered the bill. This culinary experience was garnished by a penetrating smell of toilet cleaner coming out of the WC-area, which spread throughout the restaurant... - we were really glad to be able to leave this place and will definitely never come back.

So if I may give you some good advice, you would be better off going to one of the many other restaurants in this...

I do not understand the good reviews AT ALL.

Being of Mexican heritage and having visited many different regions of Mexico more times than I can count, I have to say, this is the worst pseudo Mexican food, I‘ve EVER been served.

The food was served within 5 minutes of placing the order. FASTFOOD 😳

The food was dry and absolutely tasteless. I actually thought the sour cream (typical TexMex, NOT MEXICAN) tasted a bit funny and looked curdled. But since nothing in this restaurant was actually Mexican, I didn‘t give it a thought. When I got home I paid the price. The sour cream was definitely out of date 🤬 NOT GOOD!

Serving beverages out of a jar is not hygienic!

Voy a ser muy justo con esta reseña. Particularmente estoy bastante contento como para volver. Mexicano.....? No, pero uno también tiene que saberse montar. Tomate unas cervezas y un tequila antes de comer, tranquilamente, sin prisas. Déjate aconsejar por el tequila. Abrirá hambre y todo irá mucho mejor, es un consejo. Mi camarero a sido un muchacho latino, su trabajo a sido extremadamente agradable y eficaz. Resolvió cualquier duda, en varias reseñas comentan que hay pocas tortitas para las fajitas, totalmente cierto, posiblemente te falten otras 5. Después de la consulta el muchacho nos informo que se pueden pedir aparte, problemas resueltos. Pagas algo mas y tienes las tortitas que quieras. Pedí un burrito de ternera, muy bueno peroooo...... Sugiero que el corte de la ternera sea contra fibras, será muchísimo mas fácil cortar con los dientes y no estirar como si fuera un chicle. El camarero super atento nos trajo una salsa picante muy buena y que no moriras en el intento. Toda la cena perfecta, hastaaa.....que La camarera de la barra que no acudió a la mesa en toda la cena, se acercó, sugirió postres que no aceptamos y retiro los platos sin permiso, cuando los niños aun estaban comiendo y no dio tiempo a reaccionar, nos quedamos blancos e informamos a nuestro camarero y a la salida se informo a la camarera. Una falta de respeto increíble ante una cena que iba a culminar como casi perfecta. De todos modos. Repito, ir con la mente abierta y dejaros aconsejar por este chaval, olvide preguntarle el nombre, pero creo que es el único latino. Otro compañero ..... Cerveza Peroni "mexicana? Perdona? No tío lo siento infórmate por qué el error es grave. Eso es desinformación. Y si te as ido de fiesta o vas pasado de algo, no trabajes. Se notó. Y el gatito que se pasea por las mesas porfavor no. Lo siento por el animal pero ni nosotros ni la gente de otras mesas lo veían bien. Bueno, asegure ser muy justo y pienso que lo e sido. Aquí le pique que se rasque y enhorabuena a la comida y al camarero que me atendió. Dejo fotitos y precios para quien lo necesite. Comida menos una estrella por no acabar de derretir el queso de los nachos. Y por el mal corte de la ternera. Servicio menos una estrella por la intrusión de la camarera. Ambiente menos dos estrellas, una por el gato y otra por la actitud y estado del...
