Stumbled upon this place when we were browsing for a different eatery experience. A cosy restaurant which definitely makes you feel as though you are being transported to Venezuela. They gave us some banana chips to munch while waiting for our food. The notable mention was definitely the spicy Papas Diablo (potatos with special spicy sauce served with a standing grilled chili). There is something about the sauce which despite its spiciness was rich in flavor. For those who love spicy food, please ensure you order this! We also had the Nido Cordiniz which was shredded banana made into a basket, filled with cheese and their special sauce (you can add the quail egg too for full experience). The burgers seemed interesting with the cheese lava explosion but we found it rather pricey to try. It was great that they had mini arepas in menu so we got to try the various flavors but must say it was below our expectations. Overall was a great first time experience.

Had a wonderful lunch. We sat on the patio. Enjoyed the cold Ladron cider. Best have had in a long time. Highly recommend the Papas Diablo. First time in all of Spain that we found some heat in the sauce!! 🌶️ We enjoyed the arepas and ensalada nós. Found this place on our way back to the hotel and really glad we did! Service is great. Only downside was they did not take credit card.

Lo importante de una arepera es que las arepas estén bien hechas y sabrosas, pues bien hallado. Todo, los entrantes y las arepas, deliciosos, el postre (sólo pedimos uno) muy bueno. Comimos en la Terraza pero el local es muy amplio y acogedor. Trato familiar y decoración alegre y con gusto. El precio de la arepa, está en torno a los 7€, pero ojo, nosotros (mesa de cuatro) pecamos de ansiedad por el recuerdo de los sabores Canarios, y la octava isla, Venezuela, y pedimos de más, principalmente por los entrantes. Con un entrante y una arepa te quedas bien. La carta es amplia. El mojo picón (el rojo) es mojo picón del bueno, te arde la boca, mejor el mojo verde, salvo que te guste el picante 🌶️. Por lo menos, dale una oportunidad, ya que, en la carta hay hamburguesas salvajes, y otras delicias. Luego ya, veremos. Una alternativa auténtica y diferente.
