Qué kafé — Restaurant in Cartagena

We passed by this cafe a few times but it was always crowded so we never got the opportunity to to try. Finally we had the chance to do so on a weekday evening where they were also having promotions on mini beers at 50 cents each. The interior was beautifully done that it gives a cosy feel with a mixture of modern yet with rustic touch. Waitress was also extremely friendly and courteous, guiding / suggesting us type of food we would like. We had the Carbonara Nachos, some Spicy Mexicano Crepes and Chicago Pastrami. The pastrami definitely earned the highlight and would recommend anyone who loves beef / meat / pastrami in specific to try it out. It is perhaps one of the most impressive cafes in Cartagena and I wonder why it took us this long to discover it. We will definitely be back again to try the other available items on the menu. Food portion and price was extremely reasonable. It was unfortunate that we were too full, otherwise we'd love to try...

Paso de ser clienta regular a no volver más. Llevo unos meses yendo bastante con mi chico ya que nos encanta la comida allí y vivimos cerca. El trato siempre ha sido correcto, sobretodo el de las chicas de la barra y otra chica morena que atiende en terraza. Esta semana fui por primera vez sin mi chico a tomar un café. Al llegar, había una mesa libre en la terraza y me senté ya que no vi a nadie esperando. El camarero canoso de gafas en ese momento salió a la terraza y desde la puerta me gritó que no me podía sentar en ninguna mesa hasta que el no la  limpiara y que además, tenía gente esperando dentro para sentarse en terraza. Tal fue la vergüenza, donde todo el mundo me miraba que me levante y me fui. Y justo llegaron 2 chicas a las que les dijo: os limpio la mesa y os sentais aqui; por lo tanto, no había nadie esperando dentro para sentarse en terraza. Al contarselo a mi chico, no se lo puede creer. Las formas fueron de tan mala educación que por principios no volveré.

Veo aquí que hay más gente con comentarios negativos parecidos desde hace 2/3 años y nada ha cambiado al respecto así que no espero que los dueños hagan nada ahora. Me da pena porque de verdad, la comida nos encantaba.

€10 for a bowl of doritos (nachos) with cheese and bacon. I was less than impressed. No salsa, no soured cream, no guacamole nada. The coffee was well made and they have a good batista but I wasn't impressed with their nachos and service is chaotic and you get forgotten. I'd recommend the coffee but...
