BEWARE: discrimination. We were a group of two and asked to sit at a four person table with a nice view. They said this wasn’t possible and that we had to sit at a two person table right by the waiter station. We accepted it even though there were a few 4-top tables available. About ten minutes later a young fancy Spanish couple came in and asked the waiter if they could sit at the 4-top with the nice view and were immediately allowed to do so (even though there were several 2-tops available) Is this because we’re not Spanish? Two women? Middle aged? It’s rude and didn’t go unnoticed. The food is mediocre and maybe would be worth half of what we paid for it. We both got spaghetti pil-pil and there were hardly any gambas and the sauce was bland.

This is a restaurant I have very much enjoyed before when vacationing in Casares. However, on my last visit there, I noticed how much the place had changed under new management. The staff were unbelievably rude. They came to the point of throwing tables around and directly cursing at some customers. I can honestly say I have never seen worst behavior from waiters at any restaurant anywhere in the world. And that made this the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I shall be throwing away this card and never coming back. And I advise any fellow tourist to do the same.

--- English (professional & emotional): A spontaneous visit that left a lasting impression. After a long journey, tired and hungry, we stumbled upon this charming beachside restaurant — our very first culinary stop on our Spanish adventure. What a gem! Stunning sea views, a warm and professional service team who made us feel truly welcome. And the food? Absolutely delightful. My burrata on fresh tomatoes was juicy, creamy, and bursting with flavor — a refreshing highlight. The bruschetta, while not the best I’ve ever had, was still good and far from disappointing. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. The price is on the higher side — but considering the breathtaking view, the quality of the ingredients, and the attentive service, it’s more than worth it.

This restaurant deserves the title best tourist trap!!!!!!!!.

We have been to this restaurant twice, the first time was mediocre and the second a nightmare.

You may wonder why we went there for a second time, it wasn't our first choice but all the restaurants in the area were fully booked, and mu opinion everyone is entitled to a second chance.

We were four people and had to wait more than 45 minutes for our food , all the dishes were tasteless and extremely overcooked. When we told the waiter about this we got the laconic answer ¨sorry but I'm not the chef ¨, we were dumbfounded. When another waiter came to clear the table with our half-full plates he asked ¨was everything was to our liking¨, our unanimous answer was NO, to which the politely answered was ¨Okay thank you very much ¨, and for the second time we were dumbfounded.

We requested to speak to the manager and explained why we were so dissatisfied, he told us he was very sorry but it was not his fault, it was very busy and he did not have enough staff.

The whole thing would be funny if it would not costed us more than 130 euro

The disregard for the guests by the staff of this restaurant is shocking. If you don't have enough staff or if it's too busy then you have the obligation as a restaurant owner or manager to stop accepting...

In august we visited this restaurant, and although the food was good, our experience was damaged by an unacceptable issue. At the end of the dinner, we were surprised to find an extra charge of 2€ per person as a "service fee", wich we were not informed about that any point during our dinner. Even more shocking, they also charge this fee for a 2 years old child who was with us, wich I find quite unfair.

I understand that in some places it’s common to add a service charge or tip, but in this case, charging it without notifying the customer is illegal in Spain. Had they been notify about it from the start, we might have understood, or at least we could have made an informed decision whether to stay or not.

And for that reason, I cannot recommend this place. I suggest future diners check their bill carefully before paying and, of course, ask about any...
