Just finishing a meal at the restaurant. Unfortunately we was very disappointed. As we walked in there wasn't anyone to greet us. Never being to the restaurant we did not know where to go so we walk further in and found what appeared to be the manager/supervisor not very happy very stern and seem miserable. After sitting down we was given two free snacks ( prawn wrapped in potato) which was under cooked.for starters I had prawn pil pil (very bland) and my wife had pate trio one tasted like cheese pepper pate taste like nothing and the tuna pate was not very tasty either. For mains My wife had the rib eye steak which was very very chewy (also under cooked) the sauce (peppercorn) came all over her meal and tasted of pure cream. I had tuna steak which was very oily (olive oil/sunflower oil) it did come with mash ( looked like icecream and was really hard) and mix veg (very soggy/wet) after that we just wanted to leave l. Very disappointed as we looked at the reviews on Google and other platforms and they seemed very good. However this was not the case I dont know if it was a one off or not but we will NOT...
Read moreJust had a fantastic meal only thing but totally important if you like us, goats cheese is a no, no the oven cheese with honey is baked goats cheese with honey drizzle. The asparagus with parma ham and a cheese sauce is delicious very big portion, I thoroughly enjoyed the oxtail, grumps had the duck in orange he said it was the best duck he'd ever had, eldest had cod delicious, the youngest pork with pepper sauce, and steak with truffle onions went down a treat. Now then puddings, yummy in our tummies, cheese cake, rice pudding, chocolate mousse and creme caramel with egg yolk (now don't be put off its actually in too set it firmer than creme caramel) was way too a sweet for my taste but grumpy having a sweet tooth loved it. The staff were lovely, the place is had a warm welcome feeling, dress up dressed down...
Read moreThe steak with truffles and caramelized onions was to die for! Would highly recommend this restaurant! Lovely staff, great decor, plenty of sitting inside, for outside tables booking is recommended for any weekday in the summer, since it seems like the restaurant gets full every night. However it still maintains a great family run place vibe, fairly priced drinks. From the menu- the sizzling garlic prawns and truffle steak were superb. We also enjoyed the fried swordfish, however the sauce was a bit too salty for our taste. The limoncello at the end of our meal was served in delightful white chocolate shot cups too! Overall it is worth a trip or at least a stop on your way whilst traveling through costa del sol! I'll be coming back for more delightful meals and can highly recommend...
