OMG!, the best anniversary EVER 🥰!, 35 years together, dined all over the world but we both agreed, this is the best food, staff, owners and surroundings we have EVER had ❤️. Neither of us can remember the last time our taste buds exploded with such pure delight!, the flavours of the food here are utter heaven 😋, I'm a fussy eater and the hub isn't easily impressed so for both of us to be blown away by every dish says it all. Amongst the dishes we had (couldn't resist going the night after too 😁) were starters:- prawn tempura with dipping sauce & little crunchy seeds (huge, perfectly cooked & soooo delicious 😋), scallops (large & tasty) and our favourite, the chicken tikka masala tacos, amazzzzing 😋😋!!, without doubt one of the tastiest dishes we have ever had, a fiesta on the tongue! Mains:- I had perfectly cooked cod with a pouring sauce, the hub had the pork with noodles & chillies and he was in absolute food heaven!, I dont eat much pork but I loved the taste of this dish too, we also had the octopus with garlic mash which was divine. The cheese mousse dessert (smooth & creamy with raspberry & strawberry flavours with ice cream on top and little crumble pieces) was also very tasty. It wasn't just the amazing food that made our anniversary so special and one we will never forget, it was the kindness, attention & genuine warmth of all the staff and owners. Pilar made us feel so looked after and did everything she could think of to make our night so special, her 2 wonderful, friendly and incredibly polite little girls also made our night 😘😘. Special mention for Gonzalo who kindly took a lot of time out of the busy kitchen to explain some of the dishes to us and how he could adjust various things like the heat of the masala etc (not too hot for me but hot hot hot for the hubby 🤣!). I'm sorry we don't know the names of the lovely lady with the red hair & fabulous smile who served us or the very friendly chef who we saw on the way in and out (glad you all laughed when I said your food was orgasmic as we left 😅🤣😉!) but your service, food and warmth were very much appreciated. It's a very rare thing to find a restaurant that has incredible food, staff, owners and surroundings but this has it all. Cazorla is our favourite (hope to move here permanently in a few years 🤞🙏) place in the whole of Spain anyway but to find it has our now No.1 restaurant in the whole world, what could be more perfect! La comida estaba buena. Para probar si quieres algo distinto a las tapas que tienen el resto de bares del pueblo. Mi baja puntuación viene por el servicio: reservamos mesa para cenar entre semana, nos sentamos, pedimos la bebida y en ningún momento se nos ofreció la carta ni había QR en la mesa. Nos tuvimos que levantar para hacer foto al QR en la puerta y pedir (llamando a la chica) para que nos tomara nota (sin darnos ninguna recomendación).Eramos la única mesa ocupada (la chica estaba entretenida con una amiga). Pedimos vino blanco y ya nos habían comentado unos amigos que habían ido anteriormente que a ellos se lo sirvieron a temperatura ambiente. Pedimos una cubitera pero el vino que pusieron de inicio en las copas (sin ofrecerlo probar antes) estaba a temperatura ambiente cuando además en la etiqueta pone que hay que servirlo muy frío (5º). Obviamente el que bebimos después pasado por la cubitera estaba mucho mejor. Nos trajeron los platos al principio bastante seguidos pero cuando se llenaron dos mesas más en la terraza tardaron en traer los siguientes platos (sin que el resto de mesas estuvieran cenando, solo tomaban bebida). Una pena que teniendo la buena cocina te vayas con un mal sabor de boca por el servicio. Faltan ganas en el personal de querer que los clientes vuelvan y es tan simple como tener ganas de trabajar y ser amable y no que te pidan algo y te vayas sin responder como que no lo has escuchado y luego traigas lo que te han pedido. Todo un descubrimiento. Lo cierto es que entramos de rebote porque el sitio que conocíamos estaba cerrado y otro de trip advisor estaba lleno. Y la experiencia fue de 10. Un sitio agradable, tranquilo, acogedor, con música suave, donde poder charlar tranquilamente sin tener ruidos, y eso que habia mucha gente. El trato de la camarera perfecto. Educada, atenta sin agobiar, con buena conversación y simpática. Orientado amablemente y buscando soluciones. La comida muy rica, de calidad, bien cocinada y con mucho sabor. El precio muy adecuado para el trato y la calidad. No es un sitio barato pero te garantizas una buena experiencia gastronómica y que la comida no te siente mal. Cuidan los detalles en los platos y eso se agradece. Salimos llenos y disfrutamos de la comida y la charla. Con opción para niños: pasta o nuggets. Pedimos nuggets y la ración era grande y estaban ricos. El detalle de ponerte una tapa de minihamburguesas se agradece. Y nos invitaron a un chupito con o sin alcohol. Y al niño le regalaron una piruleta. Cuidan los detalles. Y no es caro. Casi nos sobró un entrante, y aun asi apenas fueron 26 € por persona y 11 € por el niño, comiendo de carta en un ambiente muy agradable y comida muy rica. El baño muy cuidado.
