I have been in Bellaterra for some days and I decided to go to eat in this restaurant. I have done the best choice I could do. The restaurant is quite elegant and with calm and nice atmosphere. The menù (they have Spanish and English online version) has different variety of options, including traditional Spanish dishes. The food is special and not trivial because there is always a special gourmet touch and flavour in every dish. The waiters are very polite, nice, professional and friendly. It was so good, I went back for a second night and had an even more delicious meal of starters as tapas, including cod fritters, a chicken salad, bread and tomato confit, and Salmorejo, a chilled gazpacho-like soup with egg, iberian ham, raspberries, and pepper sorbet. that cater to groups and couples. Helpful and friendly staff made some nice wine and meal suggestions. Tucked away near the Bellaterra Ferrocarril Station, there is outdoor and indoor seating. Read moreEDIT: Umami has now kept their new bravas quality soaring far ahead of the previous owner, they are exceptional and after coming back time after time they have kept them at an extremely high standard with their own unique cooking techniques. I can now say the same for their french toast and their cheesecake that has recently improved lots too! (Could do with some background music)
