Café D’Morán is one of the best places in Ciudad Rodrigo to enjoy tapas, drinks, and the lively Spanish atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you notice the character of the place: shelves full of bottles, a long counter packed with delicious tapas, and a warm, buzzing vibe that makes you want to stay longer.
The tapas here are excellent and varied. I tried the wraps – simple but tasty, with fresh ingredients and a good balance of sauces – and the toasts with cheese and caramelized onion, which were fantastic: sweet, savory, rich, and perfectly paired with a glass of wine. Portions are generous and prices are fair, making it easy to try different things without spending too much.
The drinks menu is wide, from beers to local wines and cocktails, all served quickly and with a smile. Service is fast and friendly, even when the place is busy – and it often is, especially in the evenings.
The atmosphere is what makes D’Morán special: it’s not just about the food, but about the experience. Locals and visitors mix together, the bar is lively, and the energy feels authentically Spanish. It’s a place where you can drop in for a quick tapa or spend hours with friends, enjoying round after round of small plates and drinks.
In short: Café D’Morán is a must in Ciudad Rodrigo if you want to taste good tapas in a lively setting with friendly staff. Come hungry, order a mix of plates, and enjoy the atmosphere – you won’t be...

The “Morucho” meat, whether in burger form or steak or any of the other cuts is just extraordinary.
They do a great cesar salad too.
You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Finally their lotus cheesecake is just out of this world.
