I came by myself on a Sunday evening and was ignored until I walked up to a waitress who seated me away from the other tables despite they being empty at the time. It is obviously geared towards the many tourists there as the food varies between bad and bland. After asking the waitress I ordered the snails as an appetizer. They arrived hot and greasy in a sauce that would best be described as bad Mexican with only a toothpick to pry them out. When I tried to do so they fell apart, presumably because they were frozen or overcooked or both. Not even bread to sop up the strange sauce. She took the plate away, asking what was wrong. I told her they were impossible to eat. She shrugged and walked away. The sepia a la plancha was ok but totally uninspired. When I asked for the check she told me to ask for it downstairs at the bar, presumably for fear that I might complain about paying for the snails. Nice atmosphere, fine if you dont care...
