We found this little gem of a restaurant by accident while spending the last night of our holiday close to the airport because we had an early flight next day. It's not, as the name might suggest, a vegan restaurant, although there are vegan and gluten-free options. But it had a wonderful range of mouth-watering dishes on the menu at very reasonable prices. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. One of the nicest things about the place is the atmosphere, with lots of locals just popping in for a drink and a chat with friends. We arrived just before 7pm only to find that they weren't serving food until 9pm. However, the atmosphere was so lovely, we just sat out in the neat little garden and enjoyed a few relaxing drinks and a chat. The place itself is lovely, but we were misled by the name. We assumed, wrongly, that it is a vegan restaurant, which it's not ("vegana" in this case means "from the area of la Vega" in Cantabria). However, they were able to accommodate us and we had a great vegan lunch for a reasonable price. The restaurant is nicely decorated and not too busy (we had lunch on a Saturday in August), and the servers are friendly. Una experiencia para el recuerdo en Casa de Comidas La Vegana

El pasado jueves al mediodía tuve el placer de disfrutar de una comida con amigas en Casa de Comidas La Vegana, y no puedo dejar de compartir lo especial que fue. Desde el primer momento, el ambiente nos envolvió en una sensación de calidez y buen gusto que hizo que todo fluyera de manera mágica.

La decoración del local es algo que no se puede explicar con palabras; hay que verla para entender cómo cada detalle te invita a sentirte como en casa. Un espacio cuidado y acogedor que marca la diferencia.

La atención del personal fue impecable, siempre atentos, amables y con una sonrisa que hacía que cada interacción se sintiera genuina. Se nota cuando alguien disfruta haciendo lo que hace, y eso nos llegó al corazón.

Los platos fueron un verdadero deleite. Desde la presentación – que ya nos anticipaba algo especial – hasta el primer bocado, todo fue un festival de sabores. Opciones para todos los gustos y una calidad indiscutible, todo a un precio más que justo.
